I want to online shop (but for someone who is not me), does anybody need anything?

I don't mean I'll actually buy you anything (sorry if you got excited there), I'm just in the mood to do some browsing but can't justify getting anything at all for myself.

If you are having difficulty finding an outfit/item or you just hate the search please give me a brief and I'll do my best to help!

Actually I think I was saying brogues when I meant loafers Blush. Sorry!!

Oneapenny · 09/04/2018 12:31

If your list isn’t too long, I am looking for some wide trousers, full length or cropped, size 8 please. Not too formal (everyday not for work) and no drawstring waist as not flattering. Thanks!

SparkwoodAnd21 · 09/04/2018 12:31

Thank you RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie but they look too long! I’m only 4ft 10 and need something to sit around waist length. Thanks anyway though. Smile

Woofygoldberg · 09/04/2018 12:33

If i'm not too late, I am desperately looking for a spring dress for Christening, knee/midi length, not sleeveless (bingo wings) or bodycon (muffin top). Size 14, 5ft 6.

Any suggestions welcome.

Diorissimo1985 · 09/04/2018 12:34

Gosh if you have time I'd love some help with this - www.mumsnet.com/Talk/style_and_beauty/3216812-Dress-for-black-tie-event

I posted last night but haven't had any replies yet and I'm not having much luck this morning jiggling DD whilst browsing on iPad (bad mother I know Wink)

TheScottishPlay · 09/04/2018 12:36

What a great thread, not looking for anything but rivetted to what you come up with op!

IrvinaYalom · 09/04/2018 12:40

@BadTasteFlump Ooh ok, will try for something more loafery.

@RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie sizes please!

This lot might take a while but I'll do my best Grin

Do you fancy looking at menswear for me? DH is tall, thin and thinks he’s cool BUT he hates clothes shopping. He needs jeans and a few long sleeve tops that aren’t rugby tops or polo style.

Great idea for a thread!

And I want a massive lasagne dish if you want to do that? Something that would serve about 8 but look stylish.

Sjjr23 · 09/04/2018 12:44

@IvirnaYalom thanks muchly! Xxx

ChaosAndPiss · 09/04/2018 12:45

Oh my gosh this is exactly what I need.

I am a jeans and tshirt kind of girl. I don't wear dresses or skirts but I have 2 weddings to go to and I feel like I need to wear a dress or something to make me not look like a fat dyke in a trouser suit 😔

I am a lesbian and my wife will be wearing a dress. I don't want to look like "the man"

In the past when I've worn dresses they've been those big maxi? dresses. I think that's what they're called? I have no idea 😂 anyway, I quite like them.

I am 5"2 and fat 😩 but I do have a very pronounced waist and from what I've read I need a dress which shows that off to make me look less round? I think I'm what's classed as an hourglass shape. Just a squished one 😂

I also will need shoes to go with it but I can't walk in heals 😂

Yea, good luck. Please help me. Someone.

ChaosAndPiss · 09/04/2018 12:45

Oh, I'm a size 6.5/7 shoe.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 09/04/2018 12:47

Sparkwood I think you might need to look for cropped ones. I'm 5'2 and those M&S ones are around waist length on me.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 09/04/2018 12:47

Shoe size = 4

tabulahrasa · 09/04/2018 13:08

I need a top, well 2 different ones preferably for nights out, I’m 14-16 depending on shops, I prefer to have my stomach covered but not my cleavage, lol

Um... I like glitter and sequins but tend to buy things that make me look like an oven ready turkey accidentally...

I’ve got dark hair and olivey skin so I’m good with bold colours, or black, have no objection to patterns - don’t particularly like neutrals and nothing that could be described as a blouse.

I’m not keen on cold shoulders or those weird neck strap things and I don’t like having to wear strapless bras... but none of those are deal breakers.

Price isn’t a huge issue, but I am a bit tight, so not ludicrous Smile

Um, what else? Sexy, verging on tarty is kind of my style tbh, but not OTT...

No clue if any of that makes any sense or is going to get me anywhere, but figured it’s worth a shot as I’m toiling to find anything

Cheers Grin

I'd like a nice pair of going out shorts for wearing on a city break next month. I'm size 12/14 and 5'8 with long legs so not too short (or tight given the lardy ass)

I just noticed I didn't put my size. I'm a size 18 but hoping to be at least a 16 by the time it gets here. Also budget is low.

Pashazade · 09/04/2018 13:34

@Sparkwood have you tried woolovers....

Shinycantle · 09/04/2018 13:39

Irvina you can scrub the boring old denim skirt off the list - much nicer things to spend you time on here Smile - and I have found something suitable (not denim but M&S). Thank you for the virtual poke with a sharp stick though Grin

zippyswife · 09/04/2018 13:47

I’m probably too late to the party but I’m after a leopard print midi skirt- either pleated or loose/flowing (not clingy). And some leopard print trainers.... not to wear together!!

Thank you for offering up your skills!!

Alwayscheerful · 09/04/2018 14:07

Yes please Halo
I need a blouse for a funeral
Either a classic blouse in silk crepe de chine , preferably will cover my bottom, size 14/16
Joseph have a nice one but not sure I need to spend so much.
Or
a satin blouse with pussy bow in a pretty colour but not too formal looking.
Can be neutral or a colour but not red.
Harvey Nichols online have two in gold or rust colour satin but I am not sure they are my colours.

mamahanji · 09/04/2018 14:23

Omg it would be incredible if someone would shop for me!

I need a dress for a really fancy event. Needs to be wedding smart (although not a wedding) men will be in tuxes or 3 piece suits.

I like black/grey/navy. And love lace. I really love a gothic/grungy/boho style. I am 5ft2 and a size 14 with a small waist and big bum and big boobs and a flat stomach and do feel comfortable and feel i look good in figure hugging. I hate midi length anything and am not opposed to a skirt/top combo or even those High waist wide leg trousers people wear and look fancy as fuck in.

I usually wear dr martens with everything so will need shoes too 😭

You're going to regret asking OP! Here is my wishlist!

PositivelyPERF · 09/04/2018 14:40

I need a waist jacket. Something bright and colourful, that’s easy to button. I’m not good with buttons. Size? Erm, I’ve lost a bit of weight lately so I’m not sure. I’ll post a photo and you can guess.

PositivelyPERF · 09/04/2018 14:40

Here you go. 😁
