I want to online shop (but for someone who is not me), does anybody need anything?

I don't mean I'll actually buy you anything (sorry if you got excited there), I'm just in the mood to do some browsing but can't justify getting anything at all for myself.

If you are having difficulty finding an outfit/item or you just hate the search please give me a brief and I'll do my best to help!

I like the skirt! And I definitely can’t wear yellow but really like some of the seller’s other scarves. Thank you!

CantRememberHoliday · 09/04/2018 18:16

Some light pink/baby pink/dusty pink trainers (like baby pink air max theas as an example) that contain no leather/suede in a size 7. Brands such as new balance, Nike, Adidas.

Also a sparkly/sequin bralette/cropped top size 12 ish

If you are looking for a challenge:

I'd like a red dress for summer, either solid red or patterned (but not including any black). A decent length but not maxi, ideally with a small sleeve but definitely not strapless or strappy. I prefer an a line shape with no waist seam as I'm an apple shape with a large stomach and they never suit me. Not completely cleavage baring as I have a large bust and need to wear a bra. Size 18 and budget up to £50 as I'm losing weight currently.

I want some tan/brown sandals (not for now, for summer, but I just know they don’t exist so every year I start early!)

I have size 7 feet, quite wide. I usually live in art sandals, which look lovely in size 4 on the shelves in shops but on my big size 7’s they look really, errr , comfy frumpy. I cannot wear these trendy things with really thin, flat soles. I need Birkenstock type soles, but not Birkenstocks. I don’t mind a toe post, or a cross over, or buckles or Velcro or anything- but no ankle strap. No heels, go with anything, comfortable, leather not essential, Brown.

I actually have quite nice slim ankles, and reasonable feet. But my go-to sandals just make my feet look awful! I couldn’t find any last year so my current ones have done two summers. Help!!! Please!!!!

Aw poop OP the Asos shoes were perfect but they're out of stock in my size Sad. Really like them though - I've never used Asos before - does anyone know if they get stock back in or if once something's gone that's it?

Silvertap · 09/04/2018 18:43

Yes! Need help finding a coat/shoes to go with this for a smart lunch. Preferably flat.

@thenewaveragebear1983 what about www.moshulu.co.uk/wilma-2-toe-post-cork-footbed-sandals.html

thenewaveragebear1983 · 09/04/2018 19:46

Thanks TBF, never tried moshulu before. They are still a little Birkenstock-ish though aren’t they- it’s not that I dislike them as I think they look very chilled out and boho, but they just seem to do something to my incredibly wide feet!

clairethewitch70 · 09/04/2018 22:16

@pinkyredrose

Love it thanks.. I use kat von D solid lipsticks so I will check that out

clairethewitch70 · 09/04/2018 22:19

This is the dress I want for my hand fasting but can't find it anywhere for sale. Willing to make my own version if I can find the fabric.

Uniglo18 · 09/04/2018 22:26

I was going to ask you to find me cheap tickets to Funchal, Madeira but I see you mean clothes not summer holidays! Ok then I need linen cotton tops, trousers and maxi dresses. Size 10 5''2 height. Colours neutral, white, black or navy might stretch to olive.
Thanks Grin

Hippywannabe · 09/04/2018 23:17

@Uniglo18 I am actually in Funchal now, it is blooming lovely. Hope you get your tickets!

lurkingfromhome · 09/04/2018 23:59

I need a navy fine knit jumper for spring. Plain style, nice fabric (maybe merino), quite fitted.

Also want a leopard print maxi skirt, nothing too voluminous or swirly. And def maxi not midi.

Both size 12. Thank you!

BikeRunSki · 10/04/2018 04:56

@lurkingfromhome fine knit navy jumper.

Love these, I have 3!

zippyswife · 10/04/2018 07:25

@juancornetto thanks! I saw that on IG but it’s well over my price range. Appreciate it though!

Mildlyattractivebetty · 10/04/2018 07:27

A casual tulip dress suitable for working (no mini) in summer in tall please Grin

Juancornetto · 10/04/2018 07:27

She (dmbl40) does seem to have a very different budget to most of us doesn't she?!

BertrandRussell · 10/04/2018 07:29

Yes please. Here is a real challenge for you! I want something to wear for dd's graduation. I am well into middle age, short and wide and live in jodhpurs or leggings, rugby shirts and aprons. I want to look nice and summery but be comfortable-it's a long day. Any ideas?

KickBishopBrennanUpTheArse · 10/04/2018 07:37

OP this is a great idea.

I want some smartish work trousers. I mostly wear black jeans but I'd like to smarten up a notch. I used to have some Boden Chelsea but they went saggy at the knee and started looking like unflattering slacks. Ideally I don't want to have to iron creases in them!

I'm 5 6 and a size 12 but hefty in the thigh department.

tangledyarn · 10/04/2018 07:48

Ooh I need help!
I have these trousers which I love but need a top to wear with them..thinking grey/pink vest type top but not overly tight or loose maybe some kinda light cardy. For context I'm v short and curvy and cant find anything that looks right!

JeNeSuisPasVotreMiel · 10/04/2018 07:50

I need your help!
In Gap yesterday I found the perfect pair of trousers that I've been looking for for years.

But they were in the sale and no pairs left in my size. The assistant said that they had all been sent back to the warehouse and would be in TKMaxx in 6 months.

I can't wait that long and anyway my TKMaxx stalking powers aren't that good.

Maybe they are somewhere else online?

They are grey, full length, made of jersey with a crease along them to give the appearance of smart trousers - yet they are stretch and comfy.
They have a waistband with a zip and side pockets at a slight angle.

I need a size 8 or 10.

I would be in your debt forever if you can find them!

cornishmumtobe · 10/04/2018 08:05

I am probably waaaaaayyyyyy too late for the party but would love some inspiration for footwear! PLEASE!!

Background - I'm on mat leave and currently breastfeeding. Have a post partum belly and was on the large side anyway so I am living in breastfeeding dresses and leggings until jeans fit.

At the moment I can wear socks and ankle boots but I'm having to walk walk walk every day to get my 8 week old DS to nap (I did over 21,000 steps yesterday!) but it's getting far too warm.

What can I wear with leggings and dresses that look ok but I can walk in? I've wondered some sort of nice trainer type but i don't know what I'd do about socks.

Please helpppppppp - I'm as stylish as... well a sick covered knackered first time mom Grin
