kwick - I'm another one in London.

And the whole pint of posting was to say that I've used up a small bottle of l'occitance jasmine and bergamot shower gel and a large sample of Leonor Greyl volumising shampoo - both of which I really liked.

I've fallen behind on the DIY advent calendar. So caught up today by spreading the Missha Waterfull serum sample on my face, Erborian cream sample on my neck and another boring Garnier Soft+ Sample on my legs. Today's sample is a Missha foaming cleanser and I will use it up in the evening.

The run up to Christmas is starting to sound like a chore - it's a mega busy time at work, I feel pretty stressed out, and haven't even thought about presents and Christmas food yet.

I've also finished a homemade bottle of liquid soap.

And I accidentally shattered a cheap blusher by dropping it on the floor. I used the old vodka trick and combined three blushers (one too pale, one too dark, and one just right) into one pan. The 'new' one is a nice nuanced shade and will last for a while.

I also made a test batch of ashy taupe brow color using some too-dark brown eye shadow and some mineral concealer that I no longer need.

I am not sure how I did it but I missed the amazeballs pictures dragon I LOVE your eye colour!!!

Vodka trick

Finished a loose powder from Boots. That is now nine out of the ten products I'd set as a target. I think this is the first time I've ever finished a loose powder or compact. I have an old compact in the stash I could now use but it has gone a bit hard and not much comes off on a brush. Is there any way to revive it?

Aaaah frustrated I did something similar with my Chanel eyeshadow and nearly blinded myself

Well ladies I am now finished with work for the year...thank fuck! I am done in and seriously considering filing a grievance in January...it has been truly shit year. But trying to Let It Go for now and enjoy the time off. The Husband and i are off on a short Xmas break to Belgium tomorrow so have packed toiletries bag with toiletries and cosmetics that are well on their way so hoping I might finish up a couple of things over next few days!

Tough year here too (massive layoffs plus an insane workload). Yesterday I felt totally drained and worried about my health. But a night out with DH and 12 hours of sleep changed my outlook...

Perhaps I'm terminally shallow but red lipstick also helped a lot
