dragon thank u, I wish Lancôme wasn't fragranced :(

DragonNoodleCake · 11/12/2016 20:14

Mrs we can be dusty together tonight.

That's my sisters word when she's been drinking and the next day she hasn't got a full blown hangover so she can't function but feels a bit off - she always tells me she is dusty. I love it!

I'm definitely dusty. I had 2 G&T, 2 kaluha and coke, 3 cocktails, 2 glasses prosecco, a liquor coffee and 2 amaretto. I think I killed my liver yesterday.Blush bad Dragon

AnotherPinkiePieStory · 11/12/2016 20:16

dragon love my maybelline colour tattoos esp the satisfying clatter when you have more than one! My nudes palette gets a lot of use too.

kwick · 11/12/2016 20:29

dragon it all looks so pretty!!! I like Maybelline products.

indecisive welcome to my world... so flipping hard to get a foundation that meets my strict requirements. You might try Kiko though - they have so many varieties and most do not contain cyclo silicones.

So sorry mrs... would it help if I told you I am now dying for a Brew???

I do not care how long I am on here for... I love you lot and this thread brings me joy!

mrs LOL - great descriptions!!! Maybe hair of the dog is called for? Confused

Another I like the colour tattoos also - I think I will turn to them next as the ones I have are pretty old Blush

Back at hotel watching xfactor final with Caudalie mask on.

Just checking in. Red lippie til Christmas is a great idea. I have two, TWO! nights out this week. Girls night out on Tuesday and then a party on Saturday. Can't wait.

Just had a bath and slathered myself in body oil after. Almost done in that on.

bunnybleu · 11/12/2016 23:23

Jo in a previous life, yes 'twas I.

Indecisivejo · 12/12/2016 06:44

Hi bunny why the name change? How are u getting on with your routine now, has it stayed the same or have u been naughty?

WellTidy · 12/12/2016 09:37

Found you all again! Wow, the last thread really took off!

I am still marching towards by 12 by Christmas. I don't think I am going to make it, but I have made excellent progress, and I'm enjoying using my things. For a while, I was seeing it as a chore, something to just complete asap, as I had sooooooo many products, it was all very daunting. I have my 12 products in a wicker basket next to the bathroom sink to remind me to use them. I am very much liking the Estee Lauder night repair mask that I put on my list. Received it as part of a GWP sometime or other, but I've had four applications out of it already. Its very moisturizing, and only needs to be left on for 3 minutes, so quite doable.

jo I think Estee Lauder Doublewear Light matches everything on your list of foundation requirements, but it is silicone based. I don't find it too silicone heavy though, and I use water based foundations as well as silicone based ones (just remember to match your primer to your foundation). I shied away from this foundation as Doublewear is waaaaaay too heavy for me, and I have dry skin, but I do very much like DW Light for buildable coverage, it doesn't sit in my lines (I am 41 with dry skin) and I can't smell any fragrance.

Indecisivejo · 12/12/2016 09:53

welltidy thank you for the rec but if it's silicone based it will definitely break me out :(

mowglik · 12/12/2016 09:54

jo just had a sniff and yes Dior forever is fragranced. If I were you I'd have a look online at what fits your criteria and then spend an afternoon going round the counters asking for samples. I've wasted so much money in the past on expensive foundations that didn't suit me

DragonNoodleCake · 12/12/2016 11:04

Jo try

Congrats Katie Brew

FrustratedFrugal · 12/12/2016 15:49

Katie congrats on the birth of your baby - and welcome back!

Loving #redtillxmas! Looking great PinkiePie, your lips are so pretty!

I watched X Factor too (and was so disappointed when Saara lost). I painted my fingernails red with a spectacular Kiko polish that is just the right shade of cranberry red. Worn matchy-matchy with my all-time favorite red lipstick, Chanel Coco Rouge Cambon. It is a super pigmented red lipstick with raspberry pink undertones. It has a slightly satin finish that feels wonderful on my lips (unlike fashionable fully matte ones that tend to feel a bit leathery and dry after a few hours). Cambon is discontinued and almost gone - I've been using it sparingly because I miss it already Sad

Today's DIY advent calendar treat was really underwhelming - a sachet of bog standard of supermarket moisturizer, Garnier iirc. Boo!

dogdaydisaster · 12/12/2016 15:54

Hello all, from a platform in Wigan (brr soft southerner here). Waiting on train home.

Another few minis done with: Emma Hardie cleansing balm- lovely stuff, on my list to buy one day

Burts Bees night cream (from my pick n mix): nice, had a bit of a gluey texture when it went on but within a minute it had soaked in beautifully.

Decleor face oil from calendar - lovely
Decleor shower gel from calendar - a bit menthol-y but lovely quality, very bubbly

That's all from the last few days, glad to be using the calendar stuff as it comes out, so not too many minis falling out of the cupboard.

Congratulations Katie on your new arrival.

woodhill · 12/12/2016 15:56

Just bought my dhs Christmas gift online from L'occitaine, and I received a lovely free gift for moi, small sizes perfect for travel. Also loving my M&S advent calendar but I am getting there with my stash.

kwick · 12/12/2016 17:07

You ladies are rocking the red lips!!!

Congratulations katie!!! Star

Tried Caudalie moisturising mask through a sample - did not wow me.

Thanks dragon I will check that out.

Indecisivejo · 12/12/2016 17:24

Oh and thank you mowglik

WaxyBean · 12/12/2016 17:26

Joining in as I have so much stuff to use up. Am on a complete ban for buying anything in 2017 until I have finished everything else. Not helped by buying new hourglass foundation on Friday and the Caroline hirons cult beauty box arrived this morning. I will document every empty on here.

WaxyBean · 12/12/2016 17:27

Oh and I have a liberty advent calendar which I am opening as I lose weight - each pound lost gives me a door. So that's more that will make its way into my stash in time.

FrustratedFrugal · 12/12/2016 17:32

Welcome Waxy and that weight loss calendar sounds like a fab idea!!!

kwick · 12/12/2016 20:18

Welcome waxy!!!
Amazeballs idea for the advent calendar!!
Am very jealous of your Hourglass foundation... is it the vanish one?
