Lovely picture Frugal.

Kwick Buy what ever you want and give your self as much time as you need. xx

Empties -
M&S Ultimate Sleep cream from the advent calendar. 15ml Absolutely super and will buy again when other supplies have gone. Just the right amount of moisture for me, especially at present with this weather.
Amie moisturising cream from Birchbox 10ml. Nice, absorbs unbelievably quickly and would be good for those with oily skin. Sadly not me.

CantChoose · 12/02/2017 16:03

Well done kwick. I've never used a shower moisturiser, I'm not sure I fancy it really.
I made an error with the shower gel - when I went to put it in the stash I realised I actually have bloody loads of it. I'd completely forgotten about everything I got for Christmas. Oh well, I'll enjoy using it in four years when I've used up what I already have Grin

CantChoose · 12/02/2017 16:05

strongone I'm using that marks night cream and I've seen lots of S&Bers rave about it but I don't get it at all. I find it just sits on my skin. I've been mixing it with a little elemis sos to get through it...

dogdaydisaster · 13/02/2017 09:37

Here are my 12 apostles- took Liz Earle off as DD had run out so I gave it to her.

I was given a gorgeous sanctuary box yesterday as a belated Christmas present:).

Does anyone use Decleor. I loved their facial oils. Tempted to buy one.

kwick · 13/02/2017 10:54

woodhill I used a Decleor balm once - it was lovely.

Please share your HG products with me!

Kwik

Sorry being dense HG?

Being so lazy, half term, in bedSmile

DragonNoodleCake · 13/02/2017 14:23

Urg going to have to make my 12 list tonight - if I ever get out of the office that is

pepperrabbit · 13/02/2017 14:47

I think HG is Holy Grail?
I have an empty! finished my Aloe Jojoba conditioner - but still have what feels like loads of the matching shampoo Hmm
As a bit of back story I spent most of last year having cancer treatment so have a lot of products specifically for whatever was going on. The Aloe Jojoba (Forever Living) set was ph neutral (I think) and very gentle for while I was having chemo (I coldcapped so kept 2/3rds ish of my hair) but clearly the condition is appalling hence the amount of conditioner I get through. I have some aluminium free Forever deodorant that I hope never to use again except for annual mammogram day!
The aveeno stash is the recommended product for during radiotherapy, and I have various cuticle/nail treatmenst to try to keep my nails.
I also have a set of make up from the charity called Look Good Feel Better which run workshops on make up for cancer sufferers - like where your foundation stops when you no longer have a hair line!

Anyhow, I have hit pan on my trusty dusty face powder, its a Boots No7 sheer one, I use it over foundation, or when I can't be bothered with foundation.
Does anyone have any recommendations for a better coverage powder that might be a good next choice for a lazy make up girl day?
And I might have ordered 3 MAC lipsticks and 9 shadow palette after being lured onto their website. That's not good is it....

MrsDilligaf · 13/02/2017 15:08

@woodhill I've got a Decleor Rose Absolute Facial Oil which is beautiful. I highly highly recommend it. A teeny bit goes a long way.

@Frugal you do rock a vibrant lip and the colour really suits you.

@Kwick YY to doing what makes you happy. Do it. Write a blog. Even if three people read your first blog it's a start.

Going for a little browse around the town - I might go into Boots. My DD very kindly shared her tummy bug with DH and I, and I am in need of a little treat!

woodhill · 13/02/2017 15:20

Ok thanks

I like Clarins beauty flash and their facial oils.

FrustratedFrugal · 13/02/2017 19:16

Pepperrabbit what you have gone through sounds super tough but you really deserve a MAC haul. Enjoy! 💖

I use compact foundation these days and Max Factor Facefinity and Sensai Total Finish are my faves - great coverage!

And congrats on finishing a powder - it is pretty major, they last forever...

I've also made my #12disciples list. It seems a touch unrealistic BUT I have already used up 13 products this year and am determined to continue. We'll see how it goes...

AnotherPinkiePieStory · 13/02/2017 19:46

Oh pepper that must have been rough. You need a Mac haul at the very least. I tried to do a no-spend January but was having a tough time generally so decided to stop punishing myself as well with denial of things I love.

However better news. I have a new job to start in August with much reduced commute. I'm currently commuting between 3-4 hours a day and really making me miserable. but the end is in sight so I'm hoping for a more optimistic summer and I am relaxing this week.

Kwick how are things with you? here goes my HG list. Still a work in progress but some real winners!

Cleanser: Elemis balm or lush ultrabland
Serum/ essence: niod HA one
Moisturiser: snail from dr organic (Holland & Barrett)
Facial oil: body shop oil of life
Night cream: temple spa repose
Hand cream: Tony moly peach (smells amazing and tub looks like a peach)
Spf: Tony moly mango (as above!)
Primer: Laura mercier or niod photography fluid
Tinted moisturiser: Laura m too
Foundation: not found yet (suggestions welcome!)
Highlighter: Becca champagne
Concealer: collection cream one
Eye shadow: sticks from Bobbi Brown
Eyebrows: sleek pencil and 17 gel.
Powder: bougois radiance one

Phew. Rest is all ongoing work except body shop body butter and nuxe body oil in summer! How about you guys?

My new motto is #belikefrugal. And getting working on my disciples.

kwick · 14/02/2017 16:52

pepper I am full of admiration and respect for you. Flowers go on - spoil yourself

I am still holed up at my mums but am going back tonight. Could not get a GP appointment until Thursday evening. Still quite a lot of cramping.
Still on binge viewing of Silent Witness.

FrustratedFrugal · 14/02/2017 20:15

Really great news PinkiePie, I am so glad!
Kwick

I have had a well-deserved night out with a good friend (DH is abroad for the week but I managed to get a babysitter). I've been to the theatre three times in the past two weeks fell asleep during the children's opera so that doesn't count. Tonight's show was particularly good, three 40-something women rushing about like headless chicken, trying to accomplish everything. So basically my life, parodied onstage Wink Super fun and relaxing, we laughed a lot.

Oh and I hit pan on Max Factor Facefinity compact! I've had it for about two months so that was really quick.

moogletea · 15/02/2017 08:17

You definitely deserve a mac haul @pepper

Everyone doesn't my amazing on empties - I have two today finally 😳

Superdrug naturally radiant complete cleanser - I've had this before as a hot cloth cleanser and love it. Though I would try this variety - bad mistake. It's a foaming cleanser and I hated the texture

One of my holy grail products - always gave more waiting in the wings - Philip Kingsley elasticizer. Amazing how much more you get out of you chop the tube at the end as well

Ashamed of my beauty product hoard - part 4
moogletea · 15/02/2017 08:27

We need an edit function! That was meant to say above that everyone has done great on empties!

DragonNoodleCake · 15/02/2017 09:32

Pinkie new job is great - but where the hell do you currently commute to?? I'm trying to work it out!!

I've done nothing and used nothing! I am holed up in work drowning! Lol

Off Thursday/Friday thank goodness, I'd have done 34ish hours by end of today anyway!

AnotherPinkiePieStory · 15/02/2017 20:26

dragon live Edinburgh, work south Glasgow. Stupid m8 has stolen my soul for long enough. Sad

How's tricks kwick?
Night out sounds rather fabulous frugal.
Interested in elasticizer moogle think I have a sample. Will try soon.

DragonNoodleCake · 15/02/2017 20:31

OMG pinkie I'm feeling you - I do M8 too but only as far as livi!!
You need a medal, glad you have new role

pepperrabbit · 15/02/2017 21:11

How do you find time to use the elasticizer please? I have 2 of those Philip Kingsley one's and if I'm honest I wash my hair in the morning, and 20 minutes before I wash it I'm still in bed! I'm not damping my hair, dividing it into sections and putting a shower hat on... I'm grunting in disbelief and hiding under the duvet..

woodhill · 15/02/2017 21:38

I know, it's a good product but who has time.

I haven't been wearing make up this week, tbh so liberating as I'm on half term and being lazy.

moogletea · 15/02/2017 22:02

I don't do all the faff with it - I tend to use it in two ways. Weekend hair when I have time - damp hair - slap it in like conditioner. Leave for half an hour or so then wash off in shower. Or I put it on slightly damp hair before bed - sleep with a towel on the pillow then wash off next morning. Honestly it's no bother doing it either of those ways and it leaves my hair like silk. Totally worth it fir the results 😀

pepperrabbit · 15/02/2017 22:22

Ooh, tomorrow is hairwash, I could try it tonight - then use my new (oops) Philip Kingsley silver hair shampoo/conditioner which arrived today.
