I think they are pretty awful. The sort of thing you will look back on next year and wonder why on earth you were hoodwinked into wearing them!

Topshop have them in a few colours. They have a nice grey pair.
Are they the cropped flares of shoes? I kind of like the shoes but maybe that's because I see them everywhere. Initially (months ago) I thought they were hideous. Now they're growing on me.

They do look somewhat frumpy to me BUT I would love it if that style of shoe does come back in, because if you have wide buniony feet like me they are so comfy!

The fashion for low-cut ballet flats was a disaster - I've lost count of the number of shoes I've tried on where the top of the shoe cuts straight across the joint of my big toe. These come up nice and high on the foot.

The reason I said 'hoodwinked' is because I think they are the sort of shoe that you can end up buying because they are fashionable at the moment and places like Topshop & Zara are selling them, but a year ago if someone had linked to an identical pair from Hotter you wouldn't have even looked twice at them!
