What do we all think? I am unashamedly on the fence. Love the heel height, An a bit about the style of shoe.

Lovely colour. Unlined. True to size. V comfy, heel height is so good.

But But But I'm not sure I can pull them off. I am the wrong side of 40 and yes, if I were 20 I would love them. At late 40s I not sure I can pull off the ironic look. I may just look like Miss Librarian 1989.

I'm going to give it a couple of days, am in bed with a virus and am kinda miserable.

I just bought a pair of perfect granny shoes from the charity shop, of all places! Blocky heel, nice and high on the foot, black patent. Virtually unworn; they're from "K", that emporium of comfy footwear, but bear an uncanny resemblance to the pair young Alexa is wearing in your link OP.

I'm out and proud on the granny shoe, and so relieved that it's finally OK not to teeter about in heels.
