Continuation of the thread where I realised I was not alone in my hoarding of all things make-up/beauty/skincare/toiletries.

Lots of lovely mumsnetters who encourage each other to use and enjoy all those lovely products, and at the same time try to reduce our spending on unnecessaries!

dogday I love Korean stuff but have reverted to minimal routines. I used Dr Jart Water-Fuse and Hera UV cushion earlier this summer and still use Biore sunscreen every day but during the summer I need very little skincare. Right now I feel best in mineral makeup, some blusher and bronzer, bright lippy and a quick swipe of eye shadow on my brows and lidline, and that's it!

Turns out I bought the right palette just used the wrong colours... Doh! I tried to recreate the look again this morning - I need to practice... A LOT!!!

Finished a batiste dry shampoo the XXL volume one. I don't live dry shampoo but this is the best for my hair. I have also recently come around to using it before bed. The idea being it works into all the oils produced overnight which you can then brush out in the morning. It does seem to be more effective on my fine greasy hair. Getting a second day out of it can be tough Especially as I've recently had a restyle which requires using actual hair product.

I might try that free I have hair that gets oily so fast & I hate it!

Two empties this morning:

• L'occitane lip balm travel size - have another one at the ready
• Eucerin intimate wash - I like this but have some other brands stashed

I'm almost at the end of a Soap and Glory Body Butter - Butter Me Up.

It's lovely and I might repurchase if it's still around when I (eventually) run out of body lotion.

Thread 3 can't be far off - shall we carry on??

Not to be a total enabler but have you tried swell shampoo and conditioner? Designed for properly great hair and it works. My HG shampoo now. I still use about a 1/4 of the recommended amount of conditioner but the shampoo leaves my hair clean! Imagine! You can get it from m&s

mrs yes from me too as I'm looking to you guys to save my bank account.
It's taken a dip again as DS was admitted to hospital as an emergency and transferred to another city and I had nothing with me so had to restock with beauty stuff I'm trying to finish! Should be last of my concerns I know though. He will be fine but rocky road ahead with uncertainty when I'll be home.
