marsha I really like the size, and the colour is so gorgeous,

blair cropped top sounds nice, you an wear it with anything really, even a simple grey tee, would look great with it,very versatile

I have lots of fantasy shoes,it will be impossible to link them all,

Sleepwhenidie · 09/04/2014 22:35

Blair it's owned by my friend (so of course I go there Wink. It's lovely - the lash lift treatment is fantastic. They also offer 'Beauty Lock ins' for groups of friends/colleagues, can stay open late, provide champagne and canapés to enjoy while you flit between the treatment stations Smile.

Drywhiteplease · 09/04/2014 22:45

Champagne Sleep? Canapés ? Can we book for the MU? Grin
grumpy I was looking at those very shoes earlier on my shoe evening. What a gorgeous dress now I know who I'm looking for will have a think about jacket...something cream perhaps?

Lovely choices for Ascot Grumpy. Will have a think about a cover up....

Blair I agree the sweater might be too hot. As Santa says a plain T would be good too.

I have to eat my words about Atterley Road - have just checked my email and they have emailed today to confirm refund! Will be interesting to see how fast it hits my CC but that's a major improvement for them.

Drywhiteplease · 09/04/2014 22:51

Grumpy
vintage looking
Have seen another, will find link....hang on

Damn Sleep I seem to have missed a trick, sounds fantastic! I don't actually live or work in London so it's good to get those sort of tips :) but would love to check it out at some point.

santa thanks, I did think of a grey marl sort of t-shirt as well.

to Grumpy That Boden dress is so pretty and the shoes are perfect. I'm picturing the dress with a bolero/cropped jacket type thing, so the front detail on the dress isn't hidden - but that probably wouldn't be very versatile. Nothing too structured though.

That's good about AR liberty.

Drywhiteplease · 09/04/2014 22:55

grumpyany goid?

Both may be a bit fussy looking at the dress again though Grumpy

Sleepwhenidie · 09/04/2014 23:01

How the hell did you even end up on that site Dry....what in the world did you google ConfusedGrin

Drywhiteplease · 09/04/2014 23:02

"Cream bolero".... Hmm

Sleepwhenidie · 09/04/2014 23:03

Grin at 'cute and interesting'...hmm, if the best word to attempt to sell part of a bridal outfit is 'interesting' you have to stop and wonder Grin

Drywhiteplease · 09/04/2014 23:03

Grumpy
any good?

OP posts:
Sleepwhenidie · 09/04/2014 23:04

So what day think Blair...fancy looking 'cute and interesting' for your day to night event? Grin, it will certainly provide a talking point and is unlikely to be forgotten!

Drywhiteplease · 09/04/2014 23:05

Grumpy
better?

OP posts:
Sleepwhenidie · 09/04/2014 23:06

Apologies, I realise now it's for Grumpy...who (I've seen her in that devastatingly fabulous tuxedo) is most certainly not the 'cute and interesting' type!

Drywhiteplease · 09/04/2014 23:06

reduced

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 09/04/2014 23:15

Lol Grin well it does have that peach colour in it, to match the skirt! But I fear I'm not cute and interesting either!

I like this feathered one

All the other boleros I can find seem to be from frumptastic brands country casuals and the like so won't link those. I do think one would look glam with the dress though!

libertychick · 09/04/2014 23:16

Some possible jackets for Grumpy

Zara the Ecru one

Max Mara - short sleeves though Maxmara have quite a few pale/neutral jackets that might work

Vanessa Bruno - this one could be fabulous!!

Sportmax cropped

When I saw the dress I thought a vintage style beaded cardigan might work - have a search for beaded cardigans on Etsy - maybe something like this Might not be dressy enough for Ascot?

And of course you'll need a hat

actually I just want any occasion to dress up, it's been far too long Sad

LinusDKD · 10/04/2014 07:10

Morning!

Some lovely shoe links last night! I love a bit of shoe porn.

I am still lusting after those Gianvito Rossi courts but I would really like to try them on in a shop. Maybe I should come on a shoe and bag pilgrimage to London? Wink

That is a great dress grumpy! I wish I had an occasion to get dressed up.

marsha if you like the Nars tinted moisturiser but can't find the right colour for your skin, I mix two shades (Groenland and Alaska) to get the right colour for my skin.

QueenCadbury · 10/04/2014 07:42

blair I have no advice I'm afraid regarding the skirt. I'm useless with matching tops with skirts which is one of the reasons I don't wear them.

grumpy gorgeous dress. Will have a think about jacket.

QueenCadbury · 10/04/2014 07:51

grumpy I looked at pin but couldn't find any colour combo inspiration.

Have you looked at coast?

QueenCadbury · 10/04/2014 07:59

long jacket

shopafrolic · 10/04/2014 08:04

Morning all - blimey you lot get busy in the evenings nowadays!
Santa love your welcome back. I'll try never to holiday ever again - until July anyway. :)
Sleep that's amazing about Mr Lowe. Good stuff.
Thanks for all the tips about Westfield. Fingers crossed DH can drag DS off somewhere so I can take a look at Massimo D, Cos and more. I think it'll be more likely that i end up buying bits for DS than for myself - he seems to have grown overnight!

shopafrolic · 10/04/2014 08:21

Sleep that tune is damn catchy. I only listened to it once, went out to hang my washing out and washing singing it to myself!
