Hello all.

Been lurking for a few days due to a combination of things - horrendous hangover, PMT, a cold and feeling very uninspired fashion wise. Didn't want to bring down the thread with feeling sorry for myself but am trying to give myself a kick up the bum about it all.

QueenC I hope you are OK. It always seems worse when something sad happens after you've been feeling extra good about yourself, (makes me feel like I'm being selfish or something), but be kind to yourself.

Turq I agree with Stokey, watch Breaking Bad, getting to the end is so satisfying. Then watch GoT!

Sorry to hear about your friend QueenC heartbreaking to think of children losing their mother, felt very sad about Peaches for the same reason.

Liberty can you tell me about the Boden Chelsea trousers? Was the sizing accurate? They are on offer today so was thinking may buy, although the 5 week wait is a bit off-putting.

Just been to try the white Reiss dress and it looked crap on me...so back to the drawing board - I hate shopping for clothes like this (needing something for an occasion rather than actually wanting/desiring something in particular). Any suggestions, especially if it's something I could wear for a night for drinks or something would be v welcome!

I saw Elton a couple of years ago, I wore a pack a mac that's done it, I'm going to be expelled, I said PACK a MAC on MNV, it pissed down....not a good fashion moment . Infact I wore the same garment, with the string round my face tightly drawn in, when I went o watch TT reunion concert at man City ground 1996.... And THE SHAME you can see me in the front row on the official DVD ...nearly passed out when I caught sight of myself. Dcs think it's hilarious to show guests . Don't have a good track record at outdoor gigs....wait till I go to One Direction indoors I'll show em! ........oh no, I think it's a stadium tour......bloody paka mac again them needless to say I have never been to a festival my idea of mud covered hell . Picnic moi?!!!!

Never heard green was unlucky at a wedding and have been to many Irish weddings, being Irish. Your dress sounds cool, Anni, mine was pale grey with silver, keeping it for the DDs, I love it still!

Sleep, a friend is considering this dress which I think is really cool.

The Shopbop Equipment cashmere was a great buy, have worn it twice already. Also got another pair of Gap jeggings, H&M denim shorts for summer and will wear with this, which was a bargain at £25 (code is EASTERSTYLE25, think it still works). Tried this parka on in Comptoir today and going to go back and buy it next week when some refunds hit my card!
