I agree about Clare's wardrobe though - could see you in most of it Marsha Grin

MarshaBrady · 22/04/2014 17:43

Me too Blush Grin

GrumpyOldHorsewoman · 22/04/2014 18:59

Sod that unlucky green business. At my cousin's wedding in Dec I wore a green silk L'Wren Scott blouse and both my DSises wore green dresses. I love green (although highly superstitious Irish DH will NOT have green in anything).

Stokey - love that yellow Zara jacket - lush.

While we have been talking about swimwear, can you give me some direction about this swimsuit. I really like it but have a few nice swimsuits/bikinis already. What's the verdict?

Drywhiteplease · 22/04/2014 19:26

Grumpy I love high neck anything but not mad keen on the print it makes my eyes go funny....

Really not keen on KK's ripped jeans. But then the ripped jean thing has completely passed me by think it must be my age.

Sleep that dress is lovely esp the back. Shame the red is sold out but the cream is nice too. Anni, wearing black - that's really rock n roll! Bet you looked fab. I think you can wear anything to a wedding now so long as you don't upstage the bride. (Sophia Loren, I'm looking at you)

Grumpy, great swimsuit.

AmberNectarine · 22/04/2014 20:13

Grumpy I LOVE IT.

QueenCadbury · 22/04/2014 20:14

grumpy personally I don't like the pattern or the high neck but that's just me
sleep nice dress and jacket. A s in mango should be fine on you.

I think you can wear anything to a wedding. I'm always shocked at the wedding outfits threads with everyone saying no to white/cream/black. I wore a black dress to a couple of summer weddings with a pale blue pashmina and bag and it never occurred to me until I started reading mn that I shouldn't. I don't even remember what people wore to mine.

anni how cool. what type of dress was it? Did dh know you were wearing black. My traditional dh would have been a bit Shock if I'd turned up wearing black.

I'm going with my head rather than heart and the dress is going back. The money is better spent on things that I'll wear more may have already ordered

MarshaBrady · 22/04/2014 20:25

Grump I'm another in the love it corner. I can't work out if the model has a side boob issue, but other than that I really love the print and that it's a one piece.

Anni that is very cool.

omg dh stood in my way and I went round him and walked into the sticky out bit of the wall. Cross words were uttered. It really hurt.

Stokey · 22/04/2014 20:40

Turq do Breaking Bad, it's great and it's finished.

GoT is great too, but he hasn't even finished writing the books yet - who knows when it is going to end.

MarshaBrady · 22/04/2014 21:02

Oh bum. I just looked at the end date for Matches code, it's April 25. I was waiting to get paid.

Does anyone on here want to use it? £100 off £300.

libertychick · 22/04/2014 21:14

Sleep it was me who linked the Mango jacket originally - it's lovely but I decided not to keep it. I have the medium wrapped up and ready to return and happy to send it to you to try if you like. I think the small will be ok on you though - the medium was fine on me. Let me know before Thursday if you want to try the medium.

QueenC shame about the dress. I do understand though the fear of having something you'll never actually wear - one of the reasons I am returning the Mango jacket!

Grumpy LOVE the swimsuit. I couldn't get away with it but I think you would rock it.

Lovely to see you Anni

Grin Liberty

I really hope I can get what I wanted in the sales!

libertychick · 22/04/2014 21:30

Are you ok now Marsha? Hitting bit of wall sounds painful...

MarshaBrady · 22/04/2014 21:35

I'm ok now it was just my foot. I shouted at dh because he was standing in the way, ergo it was his fault. But that's what dhs are for right? Grin

Am watching MiC. Cheska is such a stirrer, Emma (the model) has amazing doll like skin but a funny smile scratch that she's very pretty. Omg poor Binky. She's distraught.

libertychick · 22/04/2014 21:39

Yes, that is what DH's are for! I bashed my little toe last week on a box that I had left on the landing. It really hurt. Once I stopped crying swearing DH said his first thought was that he was glad he hadn't left it there and I had to confess that I had been momentarily pissed off that he hadn't left it there as it left me with no one to blame Blush.

Not watching MiC so can't comment...

MarshaBrady · 22/04/2014 21:41

Lol that is so funny, am laughing. Grin it's so true.

Drywhiteplease · 22/04/2014 22:01

I always find a way of blaming DH!

OP posts:
libertychick · 22/04/2014 22:05

Well the box was left there for him to bring it out for the binmen.... looks at DH snoring on couch beside me and debates waking him up to tell him this

GrumpyOldHorsewoman · 22/04/2014 23:13

I'll have to watch MiC on catch up. I don't think I'd feel too sorry for Binky - I used to like her, but think she's been a bit of a sly stirrer lately too. Louise is still my fave fellow small person solidarity. DD and I are a little obsessed...

Thanks for the swimsuit feedback. I'm sure you all know I've ordered it Wink.

shopafrolic · 23/04/2014 08:22

Morning all. No MiC spoilers please Marsha I was in bed by 9ish last night as still feel lousy.
Learnt something new with the no green to a wedding thing. My bridesmaid wore green Hmm

shopafrolic · 23/04/2014 08:23

Sloppy kiss to Anni BTW

QueenCadbury · 23/04/2014 13:24

I had been feeling great about my outfit today and then sad news at school has made me an emotional wreck and feel rather flat.

grumpy glad you bought the swimsuit.

shopafrolic · 23/04/2014 13:28

Oh no QueenC hope you're ok.

QueenCadbury · 23/04/2014 13:54

I'm ok shop but one of the mums in ds class died over Easter (expected as she'd had cancer for a while) but it has just made me so emotional. The thought of those kids (same age as mine) losing their mum is heartbreaking.

Anyway, back to fashion...meeting a friend in town tomorrow so will take the dress back, check again if zara has the starry blouse and check out pull and bear whilst dd is in the buggy with chocolate and a fruit shoot
