Good luck Shop Thanks

We've got a warm sunny day here, such a shame I don't have a garden

LinusDKD · 18/04/2014 09:50

My Eres bikinis that I bought for our honeymoon nearly 8 years ago and haven't been worn for many many years. I even had to and look for them in the loft!

I can't face trying them on today so I'll just bung them in the suitcase with some backup swimsuits

Particularly love the red one on the left Linus. Would really like to have an Eres bikini.

mulberry has more profit warnings.

MarshaBrady · 18/04/2014 14:27

Good one!

Not sure whether to spend Liberty voucher today-ish. The sales are ages away, don't think I can wait.

MarshaBrady · 18/04/2014 14:28

Not good re profit warnings but train bookings obvs.

MarshaBrady · 18/04/2014 14:46

Ok going in. Sales are too far away.

Can only buy one of these things; sunnies / hat / pale skinnies or summery dress or skirt.

Pencil skirt and flats can wait for the sales.

MarshaBrady · 18/04/2014 15:56

Marant Etoile 'good morning Tokyo' sweater - nice or naff?

MarshaBrady · 18/04/2014 16:15

Tried it on - I think a no.

LinusDKD · 18/04/2014 16:17

Not into slogan sweaters so I am the wrong person to ask! Wink

QueenCadbury · 18/04/2014 17:54

marsha do you read the frugality? She has that sweater.

Think I must be premenstrual. Feeling Angry at nothing in particular. Now drinking Wine hoping it will chill me out.

LinusDKD · 18/04/2014 18:53

Phew, packing is done. Well, DH still has to shove it in our suitcases. Grin

Feeling a bit better but I did have a fever this afternoon so I'll have one more lemsip before bed.

DH is busy downloading Peppa Pig on the Ipad to keep the DC amused quiet during the flight and my Le Pliage is full of stickers, crayons and treats.

Wine for queenc

Topazandpearl · 18/04/2014 19:21

Enjoy the holiday Linus and yes to Wine for QueenC!
All of the AR order are keepers. The shorts got their first outing today (back garden only - legs too pasty to inflict on anyone else!)
Great news One, I'm sure you and your friend will have great fun.
I like slogan sweaters on others Marsha, being rather well-endowed, they are not for me though.
Enjoy the weekend everyone.

MarshaBrady · 18/04/2014 19:37

Excellent re AR Topaz.

Have fun and well done Linus!

QueenC I did, I thought she looked great in it. But have decided against it as it looks better on her than it did on me.

So have finalised to Etre Cecile t, T by A Wang neon jumper and Acne acid wash (!) skinnies.

I remember the first time acid wash was in, people in our not unilike middle America town of wide streets, flat spaces and tight jeans would wear them. I also love the G Rossi white pumps and I remember being fascinated by those too at 15 (in my Benetton and Country Road).

I can't find them anywhere except on this blog stella m ones I also tried the acne. Boyfriends are probably not me and distressed are definitely not, but perhaps I can do this as jean of the mo. Or maybe not!

MarshaBrady · 18/04/2014 19:38

And also I felt so hot and crowded in Liberty, town is packed and it was pretty full in there, that I put stuff on hold to go back later. I couldn't bear it by the end and didn't want to make rash decisions.

shopafrolic · 18/04/2014 20:30

Such a good day. Surprise for DH was fab, he was so happy to see his bro. And so nice to watch DS play with his baby twin cousins.
Bad news is the dishwasher blew up and no engineer for a week!
Chilling now watching Scatter My Ashes at Bergdorfs.
Loving the shopping Marsha
One wedding plans sound fun
QueenC hope you're chilling
Linus well done on the packing

AmberNectarine · 18/04/2014 21:12

Am out drinking cocktails wearing Wang, Gucci and Balenciaga. I won't lie, it feels good.

When I have to go for a 5 mile run to pick up the car before 8.30am tomorrow I probably won't feel as good. But shhh, let's not worry about that

maradesbois · 18/04/2014 22:15

Evening,

Just checking in to say hello. Having great holiday so far. Out for fantastic lunch with friends & family today washed down with ruinart champagne, gorgeous. Wore my white topshop skinnies with stripy Ralph Lauren Oxford shirt, navy blazer and rupert Sanderson pumps & took birkin. Very bourgeois look but felt good & really love the jeans (jamie - high waisted & fabric not too thin).

Have just skimmed the thread but mu plans seem to be coming on well. Can't give imput re venue as don't know London well enough but happy to go with the flow.

linus saw you got the cobalt celine hobo, lucky you, it's beautiful! Enjoy it and your hols.

Saw a woman today carrying this in navy, was really nice. Would love a navy bag but no budget for it at the moment. Maybe later this year.

Drywhiteplease · 18/04/2014 23:10

Evening all...I'm back! Just a quick one, but have booked tickets, will be down for MU in July....catch up tomorrow. Smile

Great buys Marsha. I remember loving my stone-washed jeans aged 13 and thinking I was the height of cool until I went to very posh school where Country Road was more the thing, don't think I ever wore them again.

Everyone's outfits sounding great. Hope you've had a good holiday Dry.

Have given up on finding new dress for wedding next weekend & think am going to go with this DvF one. Figure if DvF is good enough for Kate, it's good enough for me!

Not sure what colour shoes to go for - I think i'll still need a jacket, probably cream (shopping today) - and will probably wear nude tights as am a complete wuss who feels the cold. So maybe nude courts?

Secretsquirrel13 · 19/04/2014 12:28

Hello all we're having a lively lazy Saturday, only just got dressed. Just playing in the garden today, dh has plans to chop down a tree which makes me feel nervousSmile
This morning I counted up what I have to spend in vouchers ie free shopping and it is not v impressive but better than nothing- £30 jaeger I think it will go on a Breton, a bag or bracelet possibly some slippers (someone talk me out if that!), £15 boden which they sent me recently then I have £25 for Next and about £10 at h&m from returns ages ago. Amber if you're reading I did the whole distance this morning and ran my fastest mile ever 8.37 I was very pleased and will only admit here that it was actually down a very big hill I wonder if that still counts!
Marsha lovely purchases I love the colour of the pale skinnies.
Hope you're all enjoying the sunshine.
