marsha Do you have any idea what you will get from matches?

liberty hope you enjoy your weekend ,you need it,x

1AcreBear · 17/04/2014 20:45

Amber - I am sure you know using the word 'cretin' is really offensive?

BrandyAlexander · 17/04/2014 21:27

Wow Linus, that's v impressive!

Stokey, I didn't realise that bikini came in a green too. Might have a look for it. It's such a great bikini, in my exact bra size, which is unusual so hard to make a swimsuit look flattering.

So two big non-fashion news for today (I look so awful right now can't even be bothered to describe!). Firstly, I had an epiphany this morning and have decided that we will try and get ds a place at the nursery of dd's pre-prep in September. Huge decision because dd only went to nursery/preschool 3 days a week but I am very concerned at the amount of time he spends in the car dropping dd to and from school and then going on to his activities or nursery. On a Monday he spends 3.5 hours in the carShock. It's been 6 months and just not sustainable or fair on him.

Second, I got an invite today to a meeting on Tuesday, where I think I am going to be offered a new leadership role at work. I turned it down once before for all sorts of reasons but primarily I was working part time and my baby wasn't even 6 months. I am quite excited about the prospect although I will feel a right nana if that's not what he wants!!!!

BrandyAlexander · 17/04/2014 21:30

Oh MU- yes, I am soooo with Shop. Parks etc just not my thing Blush (this may be why I made no "mummy" friends when the dcs were bubsBlush

Topazandpearl · 17/04/2014 21:49

I am arriving into Euston just after 10 (so I have mooching time) so location is not really an issue (as long as, like shop, I can eat).

All this talk of prosecco is very promising!

Well done Linus, get in that bikini!

OneLittleLady · 17/04/2014 23:11

I am very proudly wearing ym brand new, glow in the dark, Ghostbusters shortie pjs Grin

Secretsquirrel13 · 17/04/2014 23:32

Sans sucre thank you I have emailed them I need some of those.
5th July I'll be at a national sports event, hopefully also drinking prosecco.

shopafrolic · 17/04/2014 23:33

Oh God I am so drunk it's not funny. Wine must have reacted with meds as have been so sick . Though I'd show you my lovely friend's new handbag

Take it easy Shop! Your friend has great taste.

Ok so picnic in the park is out - all good points re loos, heels and quantities of prosecco required. And yes food is essential.

The only issue with the sunny place is I recall it being a slight PITA getting home (Marsha, Novice and I had a bit of a hike trying to find a taxi!). We probably need a location that's no more than a 10 minute walk from a Tube station or on a bus route back to Euston/King's Cross for the people coming from out of town - Stokey would be great if you could pm your suggestions to me and I'll investigate.

And I finally cracked out the 'nuxe huile prodigieuse' today - bought it months ago when Anni pointed out it was reduced at M&S. Gosh it's lovely. I put it on my legs and arms and they felt lovely all day the smell is great.

libertychick · 18/04/2014 00:56

Work stuff sounds exciting Novice.

AmberNectarine · 18/04/2014 07:14

Thanks for the input 1Acre

I'm on for the 5th. No particular preferences as to location, as I am a Londoner. Bearing in mind the temperate nature of the British climate it might be handy to have an indoor option.

Fish jumper arrived, I like it a lot. Suspect my mum will be arching an eyebrow at the distressing though. A jumpsuit I ordered from ASOS arrived too, but made me look like a karate teacher, so back it goes.

MarshaBrady · 18/04/2014 07:19

Ok Central is good. Everyone wants food, but do you all want to sit down to lunch? How many 20+?

Turquoiseblue · 18/04/2014 08:25

MU plans sound lovely will defiantly try make a MU at some stage.

We re heading away for the weekend today ....I am so excited Grin beautiful hotel, in lovely location. Have booked Easter Sunday lunch in a fave spot too which will be a real treat. Now to pack .....
Suddenly those little gaps in my wardrobe seem like great gaping holes

Am getting a mani/pedi before we arrive but have realised I ve no decent sandals to show it off.

shopafrolic · 18/04/2014 08:31

Morning all.
I can do tapas. Just need to bed fed! :)

shopafrolic · 18/04/2014 08:35

Be!!!!!

LinusDKD · 18/04/2014 08:47

Morning shop!!!!! Grin

I am currently downing a lemsip as I feel pretty grotty. Sad

But I am not going to be beaten! Shower first and then packing.

QueenCadbury · 18/04/2014 08:47

Haven't booked my train yet as waiting for prices to drop but will probably arrive 10ish and have a quick mooch along regent st again to get my cos/BR/uniqlo fix. I will definitely want food but happy with tapas/snacks rather than full meal. I'll buy an m&s sandwich for the journey home again. I'm paddington. Yes, to being near tube station.

MarshaBrady · 18/04/2014 09:06

Tapas might be good as we could pay as we go? People can spend as little (or as much) as they like with food and drink.

OneLittleLady · 18/04/2014 09:16

YY to being near tube stations, I'll be arriving at Kings Cross, not sure of time yet as waiting for ticket prices to drop so I can pounce! I'm happy with whatever eating arrangements are made as long as I do get to eat. I also love tapas but don't let that sway the decision Grin

shopafrolic · 18/04/2014 09:22

Feel better soon linus what lousy timing!
It's MrShop 's birthday today, I feel absolutely horrific. I only had two glasses of wine so it's either the meds or this bug is rearing it's ugly head again. Will have to fake good health as his brother, partner and the twins are on their way to surprise him from Norfolk. Wish me luck!

Sleepwhenidie · 18/04/2014 09:24

Umm, I'm easy about location too but the sunny place is less than ten mins walk from Northern line tube Smile. I know some great tapas bars but none with outdoor space.....

Sleepwhenidie · 18/04/2014 09:25

Good luck shop Thanks
