Sounds gorgeous Novice fab bikini.

libertychick · 17/04/2014 12:38

I forgot Secretsquirrel Sorry Smile and Santa - sorry again. We need a big venue - thinking caps on...

Stokey · 17/04/2014 13:12

Great bikini Novice I have the same one in green Grin

I can't make the MU but can maybe help you out with ideas for venues

went to a nice 40th in a hotel bar with a great roof terrace last year on the Strand - you could get a table inside or hang out on roof terrace weather permitting

Or somewhere with a nice beer garden?

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 17/04/2014 13:33

En route to London for work do, first outing for Stella skirt! Love love love it. I do agree it needs a nicer top :( I ran out of time and will find one for next time. Also no one else will be dressed up that much, it's any excuse for me though!

I don't think I had a matches email Marsha? Sounds exciting!

Meet up does sound big, eek! Agree a long table isn't quite so sociable but not sure what the solution is. Picnic is a nice idea and we could get pre packed picnics from a nice deli place or something. I've had the carluccios ones before but loads of places must do them.

Back tomorrow, have a lovely day all :)

QueenCadbury · 17/04/2014 14:16

Picnic sounds great. Can we book somewhere and then cancel in the week before if weather looking good or do places ask for deposits if it's a big group? Only trouble with picnic is how do we keep the prosecco chilled Grin

MarshaBrady · 17/04/2014 14:23

Blair it's a fabulous skirt, I bet you look great.

Matches is a £100 voucher off £300 spend. Which is quite a lot to spend but quite good amount, having a look at stuff now. The sales will be starting soon, that's the only thing.

Stokey that sounds great, have pm'd you.

sansucre · 17/04/2014 15:13

Hi ladies!

Not sure who was after Whistles' Cassini in silver but they're £45 at Whistles. If you email customer service directly, they might be able to find you a pair. (Which is how I got myself a pair!)

If anyone wants to send the Matches code me way, please do! Ta!

shopafrolic · 17/04/2014 15:17

No way am I lugging the amount of prosecco you lot drink half way across a London park! :)

QueenCadbury · 17/04/2014 16:00

So basically we need a park near an off licence/supermarket that sells chilled prosecco Grin

LinusDKD · 17/04/2014 16:24

Our holiday officially started 10 minutes ago. Sitting on the terrace glass of bubbles in hand watching DH and the DC play. Bliss!

ignores the fact that DD has tonsillitis, hand/foot/mouth disease and is teething and DS is coughing like a pekinese

MarshaBrady · 17/04/2014 17:25

Nice Linus!

On one end we have the more formal thing, at the other a picnic. So perhaps a beer garden is the way to go? - middle ground.

shopafrolic · 17/04/2014 17:50

Oh God Linus enjoy your holiday - sounds as if you need it!
I'm going to be a diva and say I can't do park. I need a seat, and a toilet, and a bar, and ideally a fit waiter . So yes to bar or beer garden. Grin

shopafrolic · 17/04/2014 17:51

Besides, I do the park every sodding day with DS. You Voguettes are the only chance I have to posh it up a bit!

MarshaBrady · 17/04/2014 17:57

Haha Shop I cannot do parks anymore. 9 long years Hmm. Also I need a decent loo close by. I may be on heels Grin

Turquoiseblue · 17/04/2014 18:00

Sansucre that was me for the casini s - thanks Wink

MarshaBrady · 17/04/2014 18:02

Sansucre the Matches was a one off, it does make you feel a bit more loved! Will let you know if I don't get to use it.

Turquoiseblue · 17/04/2014 18:09

Sans - I have that matches code pm me your email and I ll send it on

Topazandpearl · 17/04/2014 18:19

I like the sound of a beer garden or bar where we can mingle. Am really looking forward to meeting so many of you.
Have a lovely weekend everyone Wine

Sleepwhenidie · 17/04/2014 18:29

Hi, just popping in to say the sunny place could be booked for outside but if weather not up to it we could move inside? Also a couple more bars (and of course the park!) within a few minutes walk so we could move on after eating to mix it up a bit or just make sure we shuffle places round the table a bit Smile? Let me know if you want me to book the garden as I can pop in soon.

shopafrolic · 17/04/2014 18:39

I guess it depends how many are coming from far afield...... Not sure where they get trains into London to? I loved the sunny spot so more than happy to go again.....

MarshaBrady · 17/04/2014 18:51

It's very nice. Also just whether we want to definitely eat and sit. Or mingle and stand/sit.

LinusDKD · 17/04/2014 19:19

Lol at shop wanting to posh it up for the MU!

I can understand though as it is nice to dress differently from the SAHM uniform.

Your bikini looks lovely novice.

Not sure if I will pack bikinis for our holiday or just some swimsuits. I have lost nearly 9 kilos and my tummy is a lot slimmer but it is still a mummy tummy.

Gah, this has reminded me that I have to pack tomorrow. I might have mentioned before how much I loathe packing maybe once or twice

LinusDKD · 17/04/2014 19:19

one any news?

shopafrolic · 17/04/2014 19:45

History (and our epic drinking) means I MUST eat! Grin
I'm off out for girlie drinks tonight. Wearing the LKB khaki shoes of fab, Goldsign Lures, APC knit and DoingaDry

MarshaBrady · 17/04/2014 19:51

Shop would you do something like tapas are you up for lunch? I can't remember what time we are meeting.
