Very happy as we got our first choice school against all expectations. Feeling sorry for my brother who got none of his 6 choices and has been offered a place 3 miles away (far in London). It's such a lottery.

Marsha I'm NE London and most people seem to have got first or second choice. He is SE London and has had a nightmare, along with everyone else on their road.

I thought he might be, I'm SE London too and it's so bad here. Someone was telling me that an outstanding school had zero non-siblings a couple of years ago, so even people opposite didn't get a spot .

Shop that sunny place was good. Might be too many for that.

Did anyone get a nice email from Matches? Think I might take that one up.

Although you never know with the weather. The long table place was a great one.

Afternoon all! It's 37 deg so hot! I am wearing this bikini while hiding under the umbrella again.

Shop I was wondering about venue yesterday too. Long table place is nice but with a long table it's hard to chat to everyone - such a shame we can't guarantee the weather as I thought a picnic in a central London park on a good day would be ace. Who is in? In my head it's: Marsha, Shop, Topaz, Decam, Queen C, Dry, One, Blair, MrsR, Novice, Sleep, Fedup, Mara, Stokey?, Amber?, Linus? Have I forgotton anyone?

Good point Liberty. If it is sunny, it would be great to have a place where you can mill around or sit depending on how you feel. Might be asking for the impossible, not sure.
