I'll have to keep an eye out QueenC I'm not usually very lucky with sales online, I'm better at grabbing bargains in person Smile

Fedupnagging · 16/04/2014 16:04

Back from shopping. Friend did really well. Besides a Bobby Brown lipstick, all I got was this skirt. Not sure what to wear with it though apart from a navy t shirt. Ideas anyone?

Great shopping Linus. I love the bag.

Interesting article Stokey. I have been wearing various shades of grey for about 30yrs so obviously am v fashion forward Grin

Fedupnagging · 16/04/2014 16:07

Meant to say nice skirt Dec and I like the top they've teamed it with too.

MarshaBrady · 16/04/2014 18:51

That's nice Fedup I probably would do a navy t. Maybe a clashing bright colour too if you feel like it. Orange or yellow?

LinusDKD · 16/04/2014 19:04

this is my new bag.

The colour is more indigo than cobalt IRL but is very vibrant.

LinusDKD · 16/04/2014 19:04

Oh forgot to say, you can wear it as a shoulder bag or a crossbody bag.

MarshaBrady · 16/04/2014 19:14

Love it Envy. Stunning colour, bet it's even more amazing irl too.

MarshaBrady · 16/04/2014 19:15

The green face just looks cross and sick! Grin

LinusDKD · 16/04/2014 19:21

Probably ate too many Easter eggs! Wink

shopafrolic · 16/04/2014 19:46

Did someone say cross and sick?
Gorgeous bag Linus, amazing shopping!
No news here. Shoe shop wouldn't refund me on DS' shoes so I'm fuming. £45 trashed in 3 weeks. Have sent Jones The Bootmaker CS an email but not hopeful. No fashion news to contribute so will lurk a little longer. Hope work is good Marsha?

MarshaBrady · 16/04/2014 20:03

Oh no who is sick Shop? Are you sick? Hope you feel better if so.

Yes work is good. I need to do the actual work/ presentation still, I'll do it on the weekend. I've managed to do the work with only £25 extra cc. Which is the best bit. (Although I do still spend a small fortune in nursery each month but will ignore that for a mo). So this week, no cc and work has to wait. Thank goodness it's very sunny otherwise I would be feeling impatient. Presentations next week, so hopefully all good then!

I did enjoy skipping out the door and leaving dh with the dc last Friday I've got to say.

MarshaBrady · 16/04/2014 20:09

You can probably tell by that post I expend half my energy on sorting out cc for long meetings on any given day and the other half goes on the actual work!

QueenCadbury · 16/04/2014 20:27

fedup yes navy tee or if I went for colour I'd do fuschia or emerald.

linus I absolutely adore the colour

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 16/04/2014 20:39

Linus!

fedup navy, yellow or cream/white with that skirt, for me.

That sucks about the shoes Shop. My sister had problems with Jones quality but CS did sort it out even though it was months later. Maybe depends on the store, so good luck with the email.

Topshop crop t-shirt is nice, wish it was cream but it's good for a last minute purchase. About 1 inch of the top of my stomach is revealed with the Stella skirt Grin I modelled the outfit for DP and he wasn't convinced. He thinks a smart skirt needs a smart top but I was trying to dress it down a bit! Who is right oh wise MNVers???

MarshaBrady · 16/04/2014 20:47

Blair just checking out the MSGM one on MW again and I think it works better as it is more streamlined. So I suppose the Topshop one is a bit too casual in shape for me.

AmberNectarine · 16/04/2014 20:48

I like lime green or chartreuse with Navy fedup

libertychick · 16/04/2014 20:51

You are right Blair. Tell him you are doing 'insouciant chic'.

Other stories top is lovely QueenC but I don’t think it would suit me. I’ve pinned the white version of the Esprit one you bought. Navy dress is a great buy. Good one getting DD to convey the news to DH.

Linus I also like the Esprit top you linked for me Thanks it’s on the shortlist. That’s quite a shopping spree you had today – I am Envy. Hope you thoroughly enjoy them Smile

Really pleased you are coming to 5th July MU Topaz, it will be lovely to meet you.

I tried the Gap skinny cargo’s on a few weeks ago Decam. I do like them, need to have a trying on session in Gap. Nice skirt!

Fedup lots of good suggestions. Emerald green vest would be good I think with a cropped denim jacket.

libertychick · 16/04/2014 20:52

Shop hope you feel better soon Flowers

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 16/04/2014 21:03

Thanks liberty and Marsha. I still prefer the MSGM one but it wasn't to be :( I think that was the issue that DP had with the topshop one, that it was too loose at the bottom, but I think it makes my waist look smaller in comparison... Grin

AmberNectarine · 16/04/2014 21:04

This is a nice look for a maxi.

QueenCadbury · 16/04/2014 21:23

for you amber. Pity it's cream.

QueenCadbury · 16/04/2014 21:24

Also for amber

QueenCadbury · 16/04/2014 21:28

I need this bag in my life

AmberNectarine · 16/04/2014 21:28

Ah, now I tell you what QueenC, that second one is right up my street. Can one have too many sweatshirts? I have 9.

QueenCadbury · 16/04/2014 21:29

And these sandals
