QueenC don't worry, I'm still in for July. Just waiting for tickets to come up so I can book them. Hoping to get there a bit earlier this time so I can have a bit more time to myself before and after lunch. Really hope I don't trip at the station again, my knight in shining armor might not be there to pick me up off the floor again!

one train tickets seem to be available to buy already. Mine are ridiculously expensive so I may get the coach.

Just got myself showered and dressed as remembered the ocado man is coming . Feeling v summery in my new Boden cardi. I'm loving that it's got warmer and is now ballet flat weather. My hush puppies may not be the most stylish but they were sooo comfortable trekking round the zoo yesterday. I really want some silver flats but the ones I like are BR at £75. I feel I may be taking advantage of dh relaxed attitude if I order those as I'm expecting 'the talk' anytime soon

Is it still definitely 5th of July QueenC? Don't want to get the date wrong for my tickets.

I quite fancy some silver flats too QueenC , just haven't seen any that I like enough to buy. Trying to be more careful and considered with purchases now especially as my shape keeps changing, it means things that suited when I was bigger don't seem to suit now so I'm having to try lots of things on before I settle on anything. Even my feet seem to have shrunk as a size five is definitely, obviously too big. Shame most places don't do half sizes, its making me consider brands more carefully now.

I've got 2 parties coming up in June so am going to try and be good and not purchase anything else until then. I could then try and justify silver flats as part of the outfit

Dd is 8. She took herself off for a shower and has come downstairs wearing a top of mine as a tunic over leggings and my lipstick on. I don't know whether to laugh or cry that she's growing up! She's also just discovered one direction

Yes, moving down the road, also still looking in Ireland and will rent that out for a year or two. Dh's boss keeps asking him to move back to the US again but nothing concrete yet. I would go if it were just for a couple of years.

I loooooled when I saw this jacket, reminds me of grandma yetta good thing its sold out,or I would have bought straight away.

Boden order arrived today, the Chelsea turn up trousers are possibly the best fitting pair of trousers I have ever pulled on. The green colour though is not good on me so I'll have to exchange, probably for navy which is out of stock for 7 weeks so I'll have to wait. The blue breton is a bit 'meh', the shade of blue is nice but the contrast colour is almost oatmeal which doesn't suit me. The silver sandals are fantastic - love them, so sparkly and the toe strap is in the right place (anyone else find with these shape of sandals that your little toe 'escapes'?)

Hi all - would love to say I'm having a fab wedding anniversary but DS is poorly again and snuggled up on the sofa with me. :(
With regards hair appointments (and therefore MUs) I will be in London on Sat 10th May and then again for the 5th July MU.

I just called Boden as I was looking at the various colours in the Chelsea turn ups and decided I'd like to try the blue version (and 7 weeks is a long time to wait for the navy!). It's showing as out of stock in 12 on the website but they had one so I ordered it - yipee!

Yay liberty love it when that happens, and that shade of blue is fab.

I'm pretty sure I can make 10th May if we do something :)

Those of you that have mentioned manis/pedis/shellac in the last few days, what colours are you going for at the moment? Trying to decide what to get on my hands next week.

Oh no shop that weekend my DP are coming over as DH is off on his annual boys' weekend.

I had a lovely day. Hair looks fab (managed to buy some more 'holy grail' hairproducts ) feet as well (did not buy the lovely neon yellow havs the nailbar had on display).

Then I went shopping for a few bits and bobs for the DC in Zara and had a look at a bright pink jacket I pinned, but as usual Zara quality did not match the lovely design of the jacket.

And then I popped into Burberry to see if they had that lovely mac Decam and I have been lusting after.....

They didn't have it in store but they did say that I could order it online and have it delivered to their store so I wouldn't have to pay duties. There was only one size 8 in stock but I tried on another Burberry Brit mac in a size 8 and it did fit nicely.

So I ordered it there and then (on their store Ipad, how cool is that) and am going to try it on next Wednesday! Yikes!

If it doesn't fit or if I don't like it I will be refunded within 10 days so I thought it was worth a try. I have to say, the SA who helped me was very knowledgeable and friendly.

Then I found a shop that sells Gianvito Rossi but they did not have the shoes I want in store (of course). I did try on a very similar pair just to know my size and the 38 was too big so I am probably a 37.5 (they didn't have that size to try on)

Cos had a lovely yellow cotton shirt that looked right up my street but I has just ordered the mac so didn't try it on. Tried to find it on their website but no luck.

I did try on a IM Etoile dress but it just made me look huge! Really, my chest looked seriously inflated.

And in one of the shops they had lovely selection of Courrèges dresses, which made me think of DM who used to wear it when I was little. I had no idea they had resurrected that brand.

Oh and I saw this and thought of santa.

Shame it is a colour that doesn't suit me otherwise I would have tried this on.
