Yay! Love it when someone loves something I suggest. Hope it's good IRL Liberty
Marsha tell me tomorrow but what did you wear in the end
Dry when I got dressed this morning to go shopping I out on CE skinnies! Dagmar green sweater and Ash taupe Jalouse boots. Looked at myself, something missing - statement necklace. What have you done to me? My Outnet purchase should be here tomorrow (finally - had to arrange redelivery because of holiday) so I'll have statement choices! Oh and the camo espadrilles will arrive too.
Santa funny you say that about Geox. I went into store and came out not seeing any I liked for DS but perhaps function needs to come over style for him for a while Hmm

shopafrolic · 10/04/2014 20:59

Linus I have another hair appt booked 6 or 7 weeks before the July MU. Make your visit for then and I could meet you? Mini MU? PM me for date if you fancy it. :)

Drywhiteplease · 10/04/2014 21:04

They're a bit like scarves, once you start you can't stop! Have noticed a few popping up at work too Smile. Never used to be a necklace person and scarves always made me feel as if I was wearing aneck brace Grin... But now...........I blame bloggers.

Let me think about it! seems so far away

shopafrolic · 10/04/2014 21:07

Shop have a look out for Pepino children's shoes. There is a little, very old fashioned, shoe shop near us that specialises in fitting children and people with foot problems etc. They stock Pepino and that's what DD has been wearing. She has bashed the life out them but they are still intact and look ok after 6 months wear.

Where do you get your statement necklaces Dry? I am feeling the need for some.

LinusDKD · 10/04/2014 21:13

Sigh, beginning of June. Not July!

libertychick · 10/04/2014 21:13

If you come over earlier Linus I'll do my best to meet up too.

libertychick · 10/04/2014 21:15

Gosh I am an idiot - have just seen it was Pepino you had the problem with Grin pay attention Liberty

shopafrolic · 10/04/2014 21:17

These were Pepino shoes Liberty, gorgeous soft leather. But because he is using a trike he is scuffing the tops of them and the toe caps have literally worn away. I'll see what they say.
Yup Linus, sounds about right. I can't remember exactly what date. Will check.
Dry I wore everything I packed this holiday apart from shoes (weather issues) and two vests! Proud face.

Decameron · 10/04/2014 21:27

Shop/Linus/Liberty, would love to meet you too if you are doing a mini mu! I'm not good on big groups. We are moving the last weekend in May though.

Santa definitely sell the bags if you aren't using them!

Have a great time, Dry.

Shop, I buy most of my children's shoes in One Small Step, if you have a branch nearby, their own brand is hard wearing,

shopafrolic · 10/04/2014 21:27

Grin Liberty

shopafrolic · 10/04/2014 21:30

Decam have you got a link for One Small Step? I don't know them.
Dry have a fab time gorgeous
YY to a mini MU. Will check date tomorrow and let you know. I'm there every 6/7 weeks.

QueenCadbury · 10/04/2014 21:32

marsha by now you should have had lots of fizz so hopefully are feeling better.
shop shoes should definitely last longer than 3 weeks but if they're soft leather you probrably do need to get something more hard wearing. Wait till he starts school. I can't believe how quickly they trash their shoes. Sometimes I even have to buy new ones before they've grown out of them Hmm
dry is it tomorrow you're off? Have fun.
liberty I always love the necklaces in banana republic although they rarely suit me as I'm better off with someone relatively dainty. Ages ago Laura Ashley had a couple of nice ones.

libertychick · 10/04/2014 21:37

Early bed for me - have a great holiday Dry.

Drywhiteplease · 10/04/2014 21:46

Thanks all....can't wait.....early night, early start.

shop naturino and Ecco are both good for shoes, durable and more appealing,

Enjoy your time dry

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 10/04/2014 22:19

Have a great time Dry!

I too would be up for a June mini-MU as I prob can't make the July one. :)

maradesbois · 10/04/2014 22:37

linus am going for pre-holiday mani/pedi and shellac tomorrow too, my feet are currently in no fit state to be seen in gigis. Hope you will come to the MU in July and decam.

marsha hope you're enjoying a good night with friends and fizz and have forgotten stupid man.

dry have a great holiday. Remember to leave some room in that case for new purchases!

shop I read your message re your ds's shoes just before going into jones for holiday shoes for mine so thanks for the heads up! That's pretty rubbish though, hope they refund you. I love start rite English classics range, ds has brogues (so cute!) that are actually pretty hard wearing. In jones I went for navy toms and bright blue converse.

I did pretty well in town today, apart from kitting ds out in bright coloured Ralph Lauren polos and shirts at tk maxx got myself some white topshop skinnies and a white linen/cotton blend cardigan in tk maxx. Was humming and haaing over an Elizabeth and James but it was about 40% mmf (rest was linen) and just couldn't do it even at £50. The one I ended up getting is all natural fibres from a brand called Duffy which had never heard of but have just googled and its on nap with tees starting at £80. Cardigan was £40 so am v happy with the bargain!

MarshaBrady · 11/04/2014 01:00

I had a great night, thanks Flowers and forgot about the annoying day.

Full day at work tomorrow!

I'd love to do a mini mu.

LinusDKD · 11/04/2014 07:29

Morning!

On the train into town and I can't wait to have my hair and nails done!

But first I need to get a chai tea latte at Starbucks. Wink I got addicted to them when I first started working in London and I don't often get the opportunity to have one.

Wearing my Jimmies, By Malene Birger breton, Paul & Joe coatigan (still pretty nippy in the morning) Hermès leather bracelet, leopard print J Crew flats and my trusty Tod's bag.

Now all I need is swishy hair and colourful tootsies and I will be perfect Grin

OneLittleLady · 11/04/2014 07:40

Hope you have a lovely day linus

Woke up with terrible back pain this morning, think the mattress might need replacing. On the plus side my hair looks lovely and swishy, seems washing it less often agrees with it

Stokey · 11/04/2014 08:05

Happy holidays Dry
Linus your outift sounds good for today - given me some inspiration.
I have a day at the park with a friend and our 4 girls and am worried about being too cold/ too hot. Think will go for boyf jeans, sweatshirt & leather jacket.

Glad night out went well Marsha just what you need to recover from an annoying day.
& good shopping Mara, gotta love a TK Maxx bargain. Which one were you in? Am getting my hair done on Tuesday night & may nip to the one on Charing Cross Road beforehand.

And may make a mini MU, am in London so just depends on the date.
