So many annoying things today. An absolute pita in Germany who may cost me £450, ARGH driving me insane and some utter wanker that yelled something out of the window of a moving car. Go away.

I am going out with friends tonight, thank god should be fun. But think I will spend the first 15 minutes feeling cross, until the champers kicks in.

And I have nothing to wear, again. Too dressy or too casual.

shopafrolic · 10/04/2014 17:14

Don't waste your energy on the idiot in the car Marsha not worth it.
Hope the Germany thing is fixable. You'll look fab this evening - where are you going?

Fedupnagging · 10/04/2014 17:15

Shop you should definitely take those (really cute) shoes back. Toddler shoes should withstand a certain amount of 'bashing about' - that's what kids do.

Foxy, that sounds v creepy. Sorry you are going- could you name change?

Sounds like you are not having a great day Marsha so hope you enjoy your evening.

Am off to the theatre later and possibly afterwards. No idea what to wear either!

LinusDKD · 10/04/2014 17:16

marsha see if you can find an Equipment shirt in the sales. So easy to dress up or down!

Will try and catch up after bed and bathtime.

libertychick · 10/04/2014 17:23

What is it with aggressive drivers? Deep breaths Marsha, he is not worth your energy.
You will look fabulous no matter what you wear.

MarshaBrady · 10/04/2014 17:25

Thanks lovelies Flowers really appreciate it.

I think it sounded like 'sausages' which was so odd I looked. I usually completely ignore all things like that, and then he laughed. So unattractive. God it gave me the rage, don't know why I have to look at unattractive men laughing out of car windows. I haven't felt like that for ages, reminded me of when I was young.

Linus that does sound great, I'd wear skinnies but think they might be a tad too casual.

Fedup have fun tonight.

Shop same place as last time, up high, ring any bells? Grin

MarshaBrady · 10/04/2014 17:26

Thanks Liberty. I was just walking along in a zen but slightly cross mood. It's petty I know, but grr.

shopafrolic · 10/04/2014 17:30

Yup - rings bells - fabulous. Same people?

MarshaBrady · 10/04/2014 17:32

Yep! Friends I've known since university days, so 20 years eep. It's lovely really, one of the nicer things about getting older. (also new friends fab too of course).

justasecond · 10/04/2014 17:32

"don't know why I have to look at unattractive men laughing out of car windows"
sorry Marsha but thats so funny!Grin
hope you feel better soon and have a great evening sure you will look fab in whatever you wear.

MarshaBrady · 10/04/2014 17:39

Grin justa thanks

shopafrolic · 10/04/2014 17:53

Saw this and thought of Liberty

libertychick · 10/04/2014 17:55

What a sad, pathetic git he sounds Marsha. That sort of thing gives me the rage too. Had an hilarious experience once when I was young (about 17) some guys on a building site were making comments as I walked by so I strolled in to say hi to my Dad who just happened to be working on that site that day Grin - the lads involved were utterly mortified - very satisfying!

MarshaBrady · 10/04/2014 18:45

Ha good one Liberty! Yep he was the definition of an odious git. Definitely thought I had moved past dealing with that stuff. On my way out, probably should have secretly left but said bye and there were a few tears, hey ho should be ok.

LinusDKD · 10/04/2014 18:55

Hi foxy so nice to hear from you! We really miss you on here!

shop I do like Kickers for DS as they are very sturdy and Pom D'Api for sandals.

marsha have fun tonight.

I am looking forward to some pampering tomorrow. First I'm having a long overdue haircut and then a pedicure with some shellac nail varnish (so my hooves are a bit more presentable on holiday next week)

And maybe I'll do some shopping Wink

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 10/04/2014 19:13

Have fun Marsha, am sure you look lovely. Hope you have a great night and forget about the git.

Love the story liberty, hope they learned a lesson!

Have decided I'm going to pop into town tomorrow after work to look for a cream top. But am nodding along with linus's comment re equipment shirts - I've wanted a cream one for ages. Have a pink one but don't wear it enough.

Drywhiteplease · 10/04/2014 19:19

Hello MNV friends Grin
Right today was operation get ready for holiday. Think I have everything:
Online booking and boarding passes done
Passport EHIC packed
Train tickets to get to airport total pain
Euros
Statement necklace.......

Anything I've forgotten ?

Tried hard to pack light until my girlfriend said "23kg what you worried about? Get the big case!"
Don't think I'll be able to close DDs case Hmm

marsha there's something about being in a car that makes people feel safe to do things they wouldn't normally do pick nose , shout obscenities etc i just can't help myself! Grin stupid man .

Shop* take them back "not fit for purpose"

Meadowhell Grin I've been once, in my 20s severely hungover, thought I was going to die. But I love shopping centres, like airports, I get very excited and go a bit loopy.

Grumpy I blame you I may have bought a second pair of shoes for Ascot

Foxy you've been missed Sad

I have had the rage too Marsha - series of petty annoyances. Ran home from work (10k) and turned out my iPod had been on all day and run out of battery, then my Garmin watch died as well and then I got stuck behind every slow walking tourist in the universe (with retrospect strand>mall>kings road bad choice!)

Slowed me right down and I just wanted to punch them all in the head. Completely unreasonable as they had every right to be there but I was annoyed. Anyway, got there eventually!

Drywhiteplease · 10/04/2014 19:39

Marsha I do sympathise. I nearly burst into tears in NatWest on Tuesady, they were so utterly crap, who'd have thought it would be so bloody difficult to get cash out of your account...had to take deep breath, leave and return today....went straight in and asked to see the manager who sorted it all and admired my Disco Wink

Shop somehow I missed that link early - I bloody love that dress, as in really, really love it. Hmmmmm should I wait for the GP sale?

Drywhiteplease · 10/04/2014 20:09

Just seen it ....it's gorgeous Liberty

santamarianovella · 10/04/2014 20:31

marsha how horrible, poor you, hope your evening out tonight provides a good distraction,

shop I second geox, ds shoes are all from geox and they are the best hard wearing shoes for boys, although not very attractive,

foxy we miss you, please consider joining us again Smile

LinusDKD · 10/04/2014 20:55

I just saw the comment about timing a shopping trip to London to coincide with the MU in July.

I would LOVE to come to a MU (although the thought also scares the bejeezus out of me) but I don't know if I can wait that long.

I have a serious shopping itch that needs to be scratched soon! Grin
