Not impressed with products - spill all!

Are there any products you've bought which you just think that was a waste of bloody time and money?!

Now I love Bobbi Brown but this product - Rose Shimmer Brick has done NADA for me doesn't add any colour to my face nor use as an eyeshadow. In fact it's put me off these types of shimmery stuff.

Bobby brown concealer and correcter. Looked brill after she did it in John lewis but just looks orange and creasy when I do it. Annoyed.

Oh no Melliefitz - I was planning on buying BB concealer/corrector after having it done in Selfridges!

Liz Earle - Superdrug do similar products that are just as good and don't smell odd.

Serum. I am so cross with myself for falling for that cod-science bollocks.

Charlotte tilbury eye shadow and lipstick,the worst makeup I ever tried.

Benefit erase paste. Finally thought I'd found the answer to my horrific dark circles, but it's far too pink toned for my skin. And it weren't cheap

The compact version of bare minerals.

Double wear foundation

Clarins double serum thing bloody expensive too.

Not a bad product but I am a convert to the superdrug equivalent of liz Earle. I used to be a massive fan of LE cleanse and polish. This saves me a fortune.

Benefit Plum mascara - leaves a mauvey ring round my eyes ( I use it on my upper eyelashes only)
I'm not into the Vampire look

Micellar water - La Roche Posay. Not very efficient at getting eye make-up off and as it's watery the cotton wool feels all scratchy on my skin. I nearly bought a different brand last week but decided against.

Plum - you probably don't want to risk another Benefit purchase, but I use Lemon Aid for under eye circles and as an eyelid primer and it's brilliant on my pale, olive toned skin. I tried Erase Paste in a shop and it was far too dark for me. Lemon Aid gets rid of redness close to the lash lines and generally perks up the eye area.

Oh yes - Benefit They're Real mascara, smudged all over the place.

Shit, I've just bought some Bare Minerals compact foundation today!!

I haven't tried it out myself yet but it looked good on me at the beauty counter.

Thanks whoknows, may try that once I've finished the Clinique all about eyes stuff I'm using - it's pretty good, tbh

There's definitely call for a 'once-used' swap shop here because some of my HG products have been mentioned! I would donate Clinique CC cream, which just looked dry, flat and cakey, Bobbi Brown shimmer brick, Bobbi Brown Old Hollywood lipstick (just not that brave despite thinking I was and it not looking the same at home) and Kerastase hair oil (nothing special at all, but does smell nice!)

Benefit Bad Gal - went everywhere. Clinique Take the Day off balm - way too greasy for me.

Liz Earle C&P - horrendous stuff, ruined my skin for months and has done the same to several friends and family.

Basically anything haircare related. Nothing that I've ever bought beats a weekly coconut oil treatment, and a minute amount of it as a smoothing agent for in between washes.

Hydraluron Moisture Booster, what a waste of £25.

Elemis. Smells divine, I'll give it that. But ££££s for something that smells vaguely like Dior Poison but doesn't moisturise nearly as well as, well, anything really.

I love C&P though. MNers persuaded me to give the superdrug a go, but I have had a lovely crop of teenage acne on my 48 yr old cheeks since Christmas as a result.

Eye creams. Any. I have spent a fortune on the bastards.

That's a good idea, andadiet anyone else in? I have a barely used benefit erase paste and an unused bottle of Benefit lee lee perfume - unwanted birthday present last week.

Aveda damage rescue stuff, very spendy and did nothing much to my hair.

Agree about all eye creams.

Benefit boing concealer and bobbi brown tinted moisturiser for me.

Blithereens I love the clinique balm! Just shows how things differ person to person.
