Ear wax lump from hell

I’ve had earache for a couple of weeks, well today I touched my ear and was like “what the hell is that”. A HUGE lump of wax was hanging halfway out of my ear.

Are you ready for this?? I still can’t believe it 🤣

Do you think there is any chance you have a matching one in your other ear?

You definitely should stay well away from your ears. That’s what causes many of the problems with them.

@TheRealHousewife omg yes that will be it! That was the year I had my first ever abroad holiday without my parents and although I was careful not to burn I bet I missed my ears!

I think I’d be running to A&E if that bollock had fallen out of my ear!

Sorry not read whole thread. Got a question? Do you have a short hair style. One where the hair stylist has to clip short bits around your ears?

Because that could be the reason for all the hair. My elderly mum had a similar problem ear wax mixed with hairs. She needed hers syringed.

Calling @CustardCreams8 , please tell me how I do it exactly as I would like to try.

Use olive oil to soften ear wax, then with the bulb squirt the water into the ear (go careful to begin with). If you’ve ever had your ears syringed you’ll know the sensation that feels ok. I use warm not hot water. I usually do it over a sink as water goes everywhere. Hope that helps! I’m sure there are YouTube videos to demonstrate. It mightn’t work straight away, but with daily oil you’ll get there. So satisfying when big lumps come out. I have narrow curly ear canals according to an ear doctor I saw, so struggle with muffled hearing from wax build up a lot, it’s something I have to keep on top of.

In my 20s I had a very itchy ear.

I used to stick a needle into my ear. And there was something hard it would touch.

Took me a good year of scraping it and then it popped out one day, and the mass was earwax but it had legs! Legs!!!!!!

The relief was great and immense.

PS: Older me thinks what a thicko to stick a needle in my ear/ear drum.

As someone who suffers with ear issues, this is immense! Can I recommend ear syringing to people on this thread generally? They show you the camera view and also the out put, it’s incredibly satisfying when you feel them get a good lump!
