This is in a VERY delicate area and is absolute agony.

A hot bath or hot compress should burst that - and the relief from pain is immediate! I use scraps of muslin soaked in hot water, keep applying until it explodes starts oozing.

I used to get these regularly. Please don't stab at it with needles or put random ointments. Go see the gp, antibiotics used to take mine down. I had one particularly angry one which required me to go into hospital for a minor op so it could be drained.

I get these occasionally. They are so, so painful so I really am wincing on your behalf! The last one I had I think I dealt with the ‘best’- got in a really hot shower (I hate baths) took a deep breath and squeezed it after a couple of minutes. Was agony for a split second but the RELIEF when it burst was unbelievable. Then I just slathered it in Sudocrem (which is all I had). I think if I had another one, I’d do magnesium sulfate paste and then shower.

Looks like a beauty that OP. If you can't face stabbing it mag sulphate after a nice hot bath.

It’s an abscess @MrsDrake - hot flannel, pop with sterile needle, drain and cover with a large dressing.

keep the dressing on for a couple of weeks, changing every time you shower/bathe - keep it dry

@Imagineit where's the fun in that? It's Friday and no GP now. DIY remedies are required. Obviously if it needs medical attention after the release session then fair enough but a pop and an ooze followed by some tea tree ointment or oil will suffice for a home remedy. Otherwise a 5 day course of flucloxicillin.

Another vote here for hot flannel and squeeze - is someone there with you? To video it?

Hot compress as hot as you can stand and keep making the compress (flannel in our house ) hot again.
Press on it and it may explode, less mess if covered by the flannel but also less impressive to see.
Hot bath with regular salt in it, the one for cooking or hot shower with it blasting on the sore bit.
I think that sucker is ready to blow!

Hey ooooo I get these. Mainly on my flaps :( usually around my period. I usually hot compress, then prick with a sterilised needle and witness the eruption. Love it

I had something like this on an intimate area. I popped it accidentally and it bled a lot. I ended up at the walk in 24 hours later cos it had left a huge crater open wound in my skin! Keep an eye on how it heals after it’s popped.

Forgot to say if all that doesn't work then needle or mag sulphate!

I would squeeze or (sterilized) needle it. I had one of those where my upper thigh meets my pum-pum years ago. It'd been a very hot summer which I think had been part of it. I thought it was a genital wart. I squeezed it and ridiculous amounts of stuff came out. After that it was fine.

Hot compresses on and gently blow warm/ hot air on it using hairdryer. It should burst within a few minutes

OP maybe clarify how intimate? I've had various boils in my life but some I would not advocate attacking. However, if 'outside' I would get in a very hot bath and then after a while stab the bastard!

I wouldn't advise stabbing. Hot bath gentle squeeze, and if you happen to have a head mounted go pro, a nice recording.
