I’m very sorry everyone (I’ll be completely honest, I’d forgotten about the thread! 😳)

It’s a very disappointing update I’m afraid. I’m currently on antibiotics and it has been shrinking down and hasn’t hurt at all for the last two days. To be honest it looks more like a bruised lump at the minute.

Im relieved - i was afraid you were in hospital after a botched popping attempt!

I'm glad it's going down. I suspect there will be a revisit though. Whatever caused it is still there.

It's big, it's sore and it's currently slathered in mag sulph.

@KatoPotato omg the doc gave you magnesium sulphate for it? Why the hell have I only ever been given shitty Flucloxacillin for my boils? Not a happy bunny.

@maisieandvicks, you can buy mag sulph in any chemist. Hell of a lot cheaper than the prescription charge!
