Once, when I was about 20 my toenail started to hurt, I looked at it and it didn't seem different, but I noticed that the toenail was a teensy bit in the skin. I got the nail scissors out and cut the nail. It was like peeling open a can of ready-roll pastries-there was a small pause and then a pop as a small river of brown pus rolled out over my toe. I spent a happy half hour or so cleaning under the nail, and then over the course of about 6 months it grew out. I was almost sad when I said goodbye to the last thickened nasty toenail.
It has never happened again despite my best efforts to the contrary

I had a huge abscess in one of my nostrils. I scratched my nose and a huge glob of green puss dropped out.

My contribution is a small lump near my hairline which produces a tiny little wriggly cheesy worm if squeezed. I don't know what I'll do if it stops refilling. I'm sorry it isn't more impressive. Some of these stories are flipping magnificent!

I had what felt like a spot on my back, I scratched at it and all of a sudden it felt weird, like pressure releasing suddenly, and there was this little hard stone in my hand - got DM to look at my back and she said there was a hole - but it just closed up and went away over the course of the day. Tried to squash the stone but it was absolutely solid, no idea what it was.

Other thing was feeling an itch on my leg, scratching it and feeling one of my head hairs and grabbing hold of it thinking it was a loose hair tickling me. It was a head hair but it had folded in half to make a point and somehow embedded itself in my skin! It was in really deep, I've no idea how it happened!

I love this thread so so much. I have two - one in my teens when I had a huge spot on my chin that I was forever fiddling with, as it got bigger and angrier until one maths lesson I went to the loo and squeezed it and what felt like a white rock hard pebble came out?!

Second was in my teens - lump on upper inner thigh which I also used to prod and poke until after a hot bath one day it popped and absolutely buckets of neon orange pus came out.

It was the best day.

I had surgery on my shin to remove a lump of bone. About 4 months later I noticed a small lump just above the end of the scar. It started growing and growing, so obviously I had to squeeze it. Out popped a load of smelly pus, and a big knotted piece of thread that hadn't dissolved! It was absolutely disgusting but also absolutely marvellous!
I also had a little spot on my ear lobe for about 12 years that used to shoot out ribbons of white pus periodically. Unfortunately I squeezed it a little too enthusiastically once and totally cleared it, and it never came back again 😭.

Oh, just remembered I had a sinus infection while I was pregnant, so couldn't take anything for it. Had to sit with a hot towel on my face for days to try to get some relief. Every half hour or so i'd press my cheekbone and orange watery stuff would just stream out of my nose. Loads of it. If I didn't press it to get it out it would just start suddenly running out with no warning.

Armpit abscess. I have photos. Surgical assessment said "not ready to lance" and I was off my face both on tramadol and delirious with pain. Touched it myself and it went, I have a strong stomach but it stunk, rivers of gunk
It refilled, I had surgery to drain it then plastic surgery to close the hole it left

Ooh remembered another one...when I was 12 I had osteomyelitis in my hip and had to have a massive operation which resulted in a scar about 8 inches long and an inch wide even with the sutures and tape trying to hold it closed. It got very infected, I can still vividly remember the absolute toe curling disgust and pleasure I got from peeling the massive infectiony scabs off repeatedly until my mum realised what I was doing and I had to go on long term antibiotics again!!

I had a massive boil on my fanny not so long ago.
It grew slowly for almost a week then one afternoon went from the size of a marble to I shit you not, a bloody ping pong ball.
I lay on the sofa with a hot towel on it while my husband looked on in horror.
The pain from it was worse than labour!
I went to the toilet and it burst, quite literally shooting a thick river of pus into the loo, with a texture of custard.
The relief was indescribable.

When I was breastfeeding I had a small hard nipple lump, incredibly painful. Very carefully squeezed it and out popped a small perfect white pearl. Squeezed that and it was made of what looked like powdered milk. So strange.

I had a boil at the top of the cleft of my bum cheeks when I was a teen that left me unable to sit down without crying. My Mum took me to the GP who gave me antibiotics which made me shit on her best cushion when I unwisely trusted a fart.

About 2 days later when it got to the size of a small plum, I was bent over in front of the wardrobe mirror, looking behind me to see how big it was, when it just EXPLODED and covered the mirror in a stream of green pus that smelled like death. Death that had died and then rotted in hell before dying some more.

This was 38 years ago, and I still remember the smell, and the instant relief from the pain.

I had something similar to this as a teen on my hip. A perfectly round, solid white ball popped out, it was rock hard and left a hole. I wonder what it was?

I had one of these. It was the joy of my life. It went away one day and never returned. I still check for it sometimes.

I had a verucca that went septic when I was at primary school. My poor mother bathed and dressed it every day but it just grew to the size of a 10p piece on the instep part of my heel. I wore trainers to school as it was too painful for shoes. One hot day, walking home from school, it gave an audible pop and I had the best sense of relief as I felt hot liquid gush out and into my dressing. Shot home to inspect dressing and found the most beautiful pile of neon yellow bloody gunk and a tiny, perfect little hole.
This is just the most beautiful piece of writing, ever.

I had this spot on my hip which slowly started getting bigger. I’m talking over a couple of years. One day I used an exfoliator in the shower and it burst. Oozing liquid and this black hair in the middle. It took me ages to pull it all out and the hair was so long. Very satisfying pulling it all out but also very gross.

I had a really painful spot nestled in the cleft above the mid point of my top lip. It had a tiny head and wasn’t really visible to others. However it was very deep - I could feel it poking through if I put my tongue on my front top teeth. I waited as long as as I could bear and then squeezed. An impressive pop at first but I could tell not everything had been extracted. A couple of side-on squeezes elicited a long white worm. Then one final push which made the first pop pale into insignificance. Incredibly satisfying. Never repeated.

Remembered another one, I had a bellybutton piercing (90's teen) and after a few years I took it out and thought no more of it.
About 5 years later I was a passenger in a car and realised that my belly button was aching. I was in a full car so discretely took a peek and realised that the old piercing had turned a funny shade of green. Squeezed it there and then and a green, solid lump popped out. I didn't say a word but the relief was immediate. No where to wash my hands for the next few hours thoughEnvy

Nothing as exciting as these, but I quite often can squeeze a little worm of white goo out of my ear piercing hole! I also remember the most massive poo a few days after childbirth. It made me cry it was so, so painful and big. Never had another, thank goodness.
