HCantThinkOfAUsername · 03/10/2017 18:34

Was grade 1 (slow growing). Had minor op to remove the affected area and scans, no further treatment needed thank goodness.
Thank you all for encouraging me to keep on at them!
Sorry taken so long to update.

Glad you are ok! Please complain about the specialist who fobbed you off and said come back in six months!

HCantThinkOfAUsername · 04/10/2017 08:16

Yes I am going too :)

Kissisforpirate · 04/10/2017 20:48

Sorry to be stupid, but does grade 1 mean it was cancerous?
Just rtft and I'm really glad you've been treated.

NeverTwerkNaked · 04/10/2017 20:52

Wow! I am so glad you went, and so glad it is localised Smile
Do please complain to everyone who fobbed you off!! Am so glad it hadn’t spread further. Am so glad you pushed for the biopsy

HCantThinkOfAUsername · 04/10/2017 21:25

Yes it means it was. Hopefully anymore that occur, God forbid, I'll get taken more seriously.
Yes I'm going to speak to PALS as it could have been so much worse and not everyone would have been as pushy - I wouldn't have been without all of you!

Footle · 04/10/2017 22:07

What a saga. Are you ok after the TIA? So glad you’ve had proper treatment. Hope the arrogant consultant gets proper treatment too.

Kissisforpirate · 04/10/2017 22:16

Oh my OP. What an awful thing to go through. I'm so glad you've now been looked after.

cailisto · 04/10/2017 22:16

Bloody hell, honey. So glad you pushed for the biopsy. COMPLAIN, COMPLAIN, COMPLAIN about the specialist who fobbed you off, along with all the other crap you’ve had. I’m so angry on your behalf xxx
