This is the feedback thread for the 100 Mumsnetters who hosted a baby massage class in their home, courtesy of WaterWipes. For those who did not attend, there’s still a chance for you to win – please see details below.

Here’s what WaterWipes has to say: “We know that the first few months can be an unnerving time for new parents. Baby massage is a great way to strengthen the natural bonds between parent and baby and we hope these free classes with a qualified teacher will give parents a fun and informative experience as well as equipping them with some new skills and the confidence to trust that they are all their baby needs”

Attendees, please answer the following questions on your experience at the event, and if you were a host, answer the survey we’ve sent as well:

  1. What did you and your friends think of the WaterWipes baby massage class?
  2. Did you feel the class provided a bonding experience for you and your baby?
  3. Do you feel you took away some new skills or knowledge?

All attendees who give their feedback on this thread will be entered into a prize draw where one MNer will win a £300 Boots voucher and 3 month’s supply of WaterWipes!

Non-attendees, for your chance to win a £150 Boots voucher and 3 month’s supply of WaterWipes, please answer the question below:
What are the moments you most enjoy with your baby?

Thanks and good luck!

Non-attendee. The best moment by far was bed time, cuddled up together with a book. Xx

NON ATTENDEE

I hear about water wipes a lot, but I've never tried them.

The moments I enjoy most are the days out and experiences. Those times building memories, learning, and having fun together!

CMOTDibbler · 13/11/2017 10:48

Non attendee. When Ds was a baby, the time I enjoyed most was having a bath with him. It was such lovely peaceful time, skin to skin

Lots and lots of cuddles, my 8 year old already doesn't like to cuddle much anymore, it's so important to have them while you can :)

babyann · 13/11/2017 17:03

Non attendee - the quiet moments are the best when they are just playing with whatever is around them and taking in the world, can really reflect on how much they're growing

Lasplin84 · 13/11/2017 18:15

I most enjoy bathtime with my baby, he is really chilled in the bath and snuggles afterwards too are lovely :)

laurapotz · 13/11/2017 19:50

I love it when my baby is asleep curled up on me.

My little one has suffered with bad colic and reflux for months but the one time that he seems completely at ease is in the bath. He becomes such a smiley, content little man. It's definitely my fave time of day with him.

My favourite moment has to be when I'm breastfeeding her bedtime milk and she's gazing up into my eyes. It melts me.

zebedee01 · 14/11/2017 09:06

I think feeding times are lovely when they are little, and as they get a bit older its the giggles and the cuddles. :)

wef1984 · 14/11/2017 10:04

Non-attendee: I love gazing into my babies eyes

MAT12 · 14/11/2017 10:08

When they lay in you arms just gazing up at you as you sing them off to sleep. Its just such a magical moment in time

My baby boy is 8 months old now. I love to watch him do new things every day, he's starting to pull himself up to stand now that he has mastered the crawling Smile

He makes my heart burst with love and pride everyday

There are so many moments but my favourite is when baby is looking up into my eyes enjoying the sound of my voice as I talk and sing.

sarahw2 · 14/11/2017 14:08

Bathtimes are my favourite - fun and relaxing!

LuckyHansu · 14/11/2017 17:04

Non attendee - best thing is cuddled up on sofa with Daddy reading stories and singing songs :) xx

TiggersAngel7774 · 14/11/2017 18:07

Love watching him splashing about at water playgrounds. The type that water jets from ground, he absolutes loves it

funkyfreks · 14/11/2017 21:12

Feeding time, special for both of us!

robyn297 · 14/11/2017 22:19

Strangely enough, I enjoyed the last feed of the evening, when the rest of the house was asleep and all was still and quiet. It was our special bonding time away from the chaos of a family of 5.

Lydia30 · 15/11/2017 00:41

I would watching my youngest grandson, 8 months, seeing and tasting things for the first time. the look of wonder, and sometimes disgust, is so funny.

ipanda · 15/11/2017 04:29

When the little one falls asleep in my arms or on chest, and moments when they learn something new.

bex552 · 15/11/2017 06:28

Non attendee - Morning cuddles :)

BL0SS0M · 15/11/2017 12:17
