This is the feedback thread for the 100 Mumsnetters who hosted a baby massage class in their home, courtesy of WaterWipes. For those who did not attend, there’s still a chance for you to win – please see details below.

Here’s what WaterWipes has to say: “We know that the first few months can be an unnerving time for new parents. Baby massage is a great way to strengthen the natural bonds between parent and baby and we hope these free classes with a qualified teacher will give parents a fun and informative experience as well as equipping them with some new skills and the confidence to trust that they are all their baby needs”

Attendees, please answer the following questions on your experience at the event, and if you were a host, answer the survey we’ve sent as well:

  1. What did you and your friends think of the WaterWipes baby massage class?
  2. Did you feel the class provided a bonding experience for you and your baby?
  3. Do you feel you took away some new skills or knowledge?

All attendees who give their feedback on this thread will be entered into a prize draw where one MNer will win a £300 Boots voucher and 3 month’s supply of WaterWipes!

Non-attendees, for your chance to win a £150 Boots voucher and 3 month’s supply of WaterWipes, please answer the question below:
What are the moments you most enjoy with your baby?

Thanks and good luck!

I love it when they're asleep on you and you just go with it rather than attempting a to cot transfer. Preferably with snacks to hand!

ChocolateChipMuffin2016 · 31/10/2017 12:39

I love just sitting on the sofa a cuddling, hes getting a bit bigger now so want to go off and explore, and I'm back at work part time so I live for those cuddly moments!

georgedawes · 31/10/2017 13:08

ThemisA · 31/10/2017 13:14

Cuddling whilst reading a book is an absolute joy as is walking in the woods or open countryside with a baby in a carrier backpack

Elizasmum02 · 31/10/2017 13:15

beckyinman · 31/10/2017 13:17

Non-attendee: Just the time when it's just the two of us and end up doing something that causes spontaneous fits of giggles!

ChocolateCake1 · 31/10/2017 13:27

My special time is when my baby wakes up and I go into her room and she is all smiley waiting for the day to begin.

andywedge · 31/10/2017 13:29

Best moments is the first...
i.e the first smile, first word, first steps etc

Ganne1 · 31/10/2017 13:32

Their growing awareness of the world, of walking and speech.

littlemonkeyz · 31/10/2017 13:51

Non-attendee. I used to enjoy quiet moments when it was just me and my little one at peace with the world and everything it could throw at us!

barbsbarbs · 31/10/2017 13:53

glennamy · 31/10/2017 13:57

Non attendee: Blowing raspberries on my DD's tummy, she shrieks out loud between untold giggling! :)

mooota1514 · 31/10/2017 14:12

Non-attendee - my favourite thing to do with my baby, is curl up on the sofa with some books when he is a little bit sleepy and cuddly!

mollymoo818 · 31/10/2017 14:14

Non Attendee.
My absolute favourite moments with my children when they were babies was the night time feed. I know it sounds weird that I say I enjoyed the lack of sleep but I absolutely loved those bonding moments in the middle of the night when there was nothing else to distract me and I could just enjoy that feeling of bonding with my babies.

CharleyYpres · 31/10/2017 14:17

The moments just before sleep, when he is drowsy but still wants to read to and chat. Sometimes he takes a while to get to sleep but I love those moments

janeyf1 · 31/10/2017 14:56

Non attendee. favourite think: snuggling up together before she goes to bed

sophiefx · 31/10/2017 14:59

Non attendee!

The moments I enjoy with my 4 month old daughter are bath times, feeding times (where I get a cuddle) and when she falls asleep in my arms. So peaceful when they're asleep aren't they ;)

meepmoop79 · 31/10/2017 15:03

Non attendee. The moments I enjoy most are when we are playing. It could be anything hide and seek, aeroplanes, the swings in the park. Its just the uninhabited laughter i love to hear.

nettymay · 31/10/2017 15:06

when were both asleep together!

superdad1864 · 31/10/2017 15:24

What are the moments you most enjoy with your baby?

It melts my heart when my baby stops crying as she makes eye contact with me. A close second is the cackle she makes when I play with her.
