This is the feedback thread for the 100 Mumsnetters who hosted a baby massage class in their home, courtesy of WaterWipes. For those who did not attend, there’s still a chance for you to win – please see details below.

Here’s what WaterWipes has to say: “We know that the first few months can be an unnerving time for new parents. Baby massage is a great way to strengthen the natural bonds between parent and baby and we hope these free classes with a qualified teacher will give parents a fun and informative experience as well as equipping them with some new skills and the confidence to trust that they are all their baby needs”

Attendees, please answer the following questions on your experience at the event, and if you were a host, answer the survey we’ve sent as well:

  1. What did you and your friends think of the WaterWipes baby massage class?
  2. Did you feel the class provided a bonding experience for you and your baby?
  3. Do you feel you took away some new skills or knowledge?

All attendees who give their feedback on this thread will be entered into a prize draw where one MNer will win a £300 Boots voucher and 3 month’s supply of WaterWipes!

Non-attendees, for your chance to win a £150 Boots voucher and 3 month’s supply of WaterWipes, please answer the question below:
What are the moments you most enjoy with your baby?

Thanks and good luck!

Non attendee. The best time is when they sit and cuddle you.

LeeR1985 · 31/10/2017 16:09

Non-Attendee. After the baby is changed, fed and clothed and they're just playing with the toys and learning things.. thats the best time :)

IonaAilidh11 · 31/10/2017 16:14

I absolutely adore watching my baby doing different things every day!My favourite moments are when she is wide awake taking in everything around her, when she looks at me with her beautiful little face makes all the sleepless nights worth it!

maryandbuzz1 · 31/10/2017 17:05

Non attendee- I think it has to be bathtime which he absolutely loved....enjoying every minute so we had to let the water out in order to get him out! However time out in the garden comes a close second where he had duplicates of all my tools as he wanted to help.

earnshaw47 · 31/10/2017 17:06

my best moments are feeding my baby, nothing brings you closer

voyager50 · 31/10/2017 17:22

Non-Attendee.

He's no longer a baby but when he was, that first smile in the morning when he looked up from his cot and was so happy to see me - my heart would melt - they were my favourite moments

mo3733 · 31/10/2017 18:29

bath time is our special time. i play gentle music and bath my baby in a lovely warm bath.

feefeegabor · 31/10/2017 18:42

I love bedtime - giving my daughter a bath and then sitting with her on my lap whilst she has a last cuddle all ready for bed. I love that time with her.

xcxcsophiexcxc · 31/10/2017 19:07

Non attendee - my favourite moments are where we are having sleepy cuddles together. Just so chilled and relaxed and not a care in the world , just thinking of how precious my son is

cocochips · 31/10/2017 19:32

Non attendee- I love it when it is just the two of us

Spices001 · 31/10/2017 19:38

Non-attendee definitely the bedtime routine is my favourite, snuggles!

Marg2k8 · 31/10/2017 19:52

Non attendee. My children are older now, but the moments I treasure are when they were sleeping peacefully and I could just look at them and forget all the screaming etc that had gone before.

Cailin7 · 31/10/2017 20:22

non attendee- quiet feeding time cuddles are lovely

mummykate87 · 31/10/2017 20:24

I especially love when we're playing and she starts laughing her head off! It brings me so much joy to see her laugh and smile. :)

Lisapaige24 · 31/10/2017 20:53

NON-ATTENDEE.
What are the moments you most enjoy with your baby?

When it’s just the two of us and am feeding my baby having that special bond in the peace and quiet were it’s just the two of us and I get to dedicate that time to my youngest child without the distractions of my other children

mave · 31/10/2017 21:02

Breastfeeding my baby, the closeness is the best feeling ever.

pfcpompeysarah · 31/10/2017 21:24

Non attendee-my favourite moments are when my little one fell asleep on me and just looked sooo dreamy, it melted me and I didn't want to move in case I upset his little dreamy time! I could have sat like that for hours, felt like the best place in the world to be.

juju3 · 31/10/2017 21:25

The spontaneous laughter when they discover something new

twinklenic · 31/10/2017 21:52

first snuggles with your new born is always the most special time i think , then after that , the first night they sleep through lol !!

freefan · 31/10/2017 22:04

Non Attendee -
The moments I enjoy the most is bath times, lots of mess, fun and giggles and then story time snuggles before bed

Hollbeach · 31/10/2017 22:19

Non attendee- I enjoy watching as she learns new things and discovers the world, finding silly things to make her laugh (currently jumping up and down on the spot) and the sleepy middle of the night cuddles that can only be comforted by mummy.

buckley1983 · 31/10/2017 22:31

Non-attendee here. My favourite moment with LO is getting him all warm & snuggled into clean PJs after a lovely bubbly bath together!

lhlee62 · 31/10/2017 23:02

Non-attendee- My favourite time is when my daughter walks up next to me and takes my hand, I know it won't be much longer and she'll refuse to hold my hand any more
