We have been asked by the team at lights by TENA to find out your top tips for remembering to do pelvic floor exercises.

lights by TENA say "We all know, improving your pelvic floor tone reduces your chances of experiencing little leaks through strengthening those vital muscles - we'd love to know how MNers remember to find the time to do them. What's more we have developed a new app - available here to download!"

Please note, your anon comments may be used by lights by TENA on their website, social media and possibly elsewhere. Please only add a comment if you're happy for it to be used.

Add your comment to this thread and you'll be entered into a prize draw where one MNer will win a £150 voucher for the store of their choice (from a list)

Thanks and good luck

I am very bad as this article is the first time I've remembered pelvic floor exercises in months! I only seem to remember when I read something online about them! I have 9 children, but have been totally OK and no problems at all so it has made me very lazy - also I don't have any spare time! I know I should probably make more effort though. The most embarrassing thing for me was that my MIL always used to tell me to do my pelvic floor exercises every time I went round to see her when I had the first 3!

I do them whilst waiting for the kettle to boil :)

I tried but gave up.didnt realise at the time how important they are

I actually set alarms on my phone that go off each day at suitable time just to give me a quick reminder to give it a go! I have 3 alarms on a day, I don't always stick to it but it is such a great way to remind myself because I have a terrible memory otherwise. Normally because I'm so used to it, I know when the alarm is about to go off and so am ready anyway because it's part of my routine now.

Do them whilst making tea, washing dishes etc. No one notices

Lulabellx1 · 15/12/2014 12:38

Yoga! Regularly... once a week for me. Helps the pelvic floor and I love it :)

hareinthemoon · 15/12/2014 12:45

You're often told to do them when brushing your teeth but it's even better to do them every time you turn on a tap.

Whenever I sneeze!

Itiswell · 16/12/2014 06:12

I try to do it sometimes when I'm putting my baby to sleep in the evening and during the day, and sometimes when I'm breastfeeding or when I'm in the shower.
