We have been asked by the team at lights by TENA to find out your top tips for remembering to do pelvic floor exercises.

lights by TENA say "We all know, improving your pelvic floor tone reduces your chances of experiencing little leaks through strengthening those vital muscles - we'd love to know how MNers remember to find the time to do them. What's more we have developed a new app - available here to download!"

Please note, your anon comments may be used by lights by TENA on their website, social media and possibly elsewhere. Please only add a comment if you're happy for it to be used.

Add your comment to this thread and you'll be entered into a prize draw where one MNer will win a £150 voucher for the store of their choice (from a list)

Thanks and good luck

I set random alarms on my phone during the day, when people ask what it's for I play dumb but it's time to squeeze!

maggieriordan · 03/12/2014 17:48

Every time I flush the loo, I exercise whilst the cistern is filling up.

GoldenMama · 03/12/2014 18:01

Every time I needed a wee when pregnant (before getting to a bathroom!), and at the start of every feed once baby was here. Now as and when I remember.

So so many since opening and reading through some posts here!! Grin

Do them every time you boil the kettle.

brocher · 03/12/2014 19:17

I try to do them when sitting in the car, and when doing the ironing!

oliveoyl72 · 03/12/2014 19:59

I have an alarm clock radio, when it goes off in the morning, I stay in bed for a few more minutes and do this sort of hip thrusty, twerky dance type thing to the music.

I always do mine whenever i get stuck at a red light! Its a great way to pass the time concentrating on something else!

VictoriaSt · 03/12/2014 20:33

I never remember to do them! is there a reminder app? :P

dragon60 · 03/12/2014 20:42

set a repeat alarm on your mobile phone

Maclairey · 03/12/2014 20:42

I always did them while breast feeding. Easier to remember that way!

Messinthemorning · 03/12/2014 20:47

I gave an app that pings every day and reminds me to 'check my tight schedule'! I also postpone going to the loo to pee for a little while to practise in case I get stick somewhere with no loo!

imustbemadme · 03/12/2014 20:54

Everytime you see a red light throughout your day do your exercises, so if you're sitting at traffic lights you can do them, if you see the red light on a kettle, iron or other appliance, do them then too.

clarejw24 · 03/12/2014 21:44

I try to do them first thing in the morning as part of my routine.

PreMadonna · 03/12/2014 22:08

Every time I put the kettle on.

Every day.

FOREVER!!!!@

sharond101 · 03/12/2014 22:26

I have a note on my phone in the memo page that says, "Squeeze". I look at my memos regularly throughout the day and do 10 everytime I see this.

arat · 03/12/2014 22:31

reminder on my phone is the only way for me

MakeTeaNotWar · 04/12/2014 06:52

As long as I'm not with senior colleagues, I do them in the lift at work for the amount of time it take to travel 17 floors!

InAndOfMyself · 04/12/2014 07:57

I'm quite lazy about getting out of bed in the morning and will use any excuse not to get up until that last minute possible. I use that time to do planning for the day, lists in my head, and have added pelvic floor excercises since the birth of my second son.

Geniene · 04/12/2014 11:59

This sounds a bit OCD, but I do diary reminders on my icloud calender, so when I'm at work, I see the reminder and can do my PV exercises at my desk with no knowing and it doesn't become a chore :)

IvyMay · 04/12/2014 13:17

Whenever I'm at traffics lights works for me!

StainlessSteelCat · 04/12/2014 13:27

I do them at traffic lights. It took a while to get into the habit, but now my pelvic floor has a Pavlovian response to them! It works when I'm driving or walking, although I think I may need to get back into the habit, I sneezed yesterday and the result reminded me to do more Blush

justgina · 04/12/2014 14:00

I used to do them during adverts on tv but its been a few years since birth so now I just do them when I wash up :)

SeattleGraceMercyDeath · 04/12/2014 14:01

I do my pelvic floor exercises every time I hear someone talk about or I read about pelvic floor exercises! As I'm a midwife I end up doing then fairly regularly although I do need to do them more often.

katiecoodle1 · 04/12/2014 14:58

Do them when you're waiting for the kettle to boil when you're making a brew!

Candyperfumegirl · 04/12/2014 15:59

i set an alarm on phone!
