Hello!
im needing to request a tribunal but I’ve never done anything like this before. I had a quick look and it says about submitting extra evidence, could I ask for the tribunal and then send evidence later? I’m going to ask my child’s cardiologist for a letter to go with everything else but that might take some time, don’t want to miss the window to be able to actually ask for the tribunal.
also is it scary? 🤣 I’m not good at being grilled so hoping to be prepared as much as possible!
thank you

Hi, you can submit extra evidence online or post it to them.

Ash900 · 11/05/2026 21:08

Can someone please remind me of the address to send renewals too? I won’t be sending it free post

Lea1993 · 12/05/2026 05:07

Woke up to a payment in my account this morning. Seems the MR was successful. SD 28.11.2025

good luck all !

Positivepositron · 12/05/2026 07:51

So I have now had a second text that they've received my renewal, do presumably that's the one I sent free post and it's taken a whole month.
Not sure how long it will be until I hear back now.

Ash900 · 12/05/2026 09:59

this is my sons first renewal. What’s the process? When am I likely to hear etc? My son’s claim doesn’t end until September 3rd. I received renewal forms May 1st and posted them special delivery this morning so they’ll receive by 1pm tomorrow

You likely won't hear until late August.

AutismMummy24 · 12/05/2026 17:57

Chloe1233 · 12/05/2026 18:04

Is your scan date the day you get a text saying they have received it ?

Fivekidsandcountingsheep · 12/05/2026 19:13

My daughter’s claim runs out on 22nd May, I sent the renewal forms back on the 19th March and I still haven’t received a text or letter saying they have received them. I sent my sons off on 10th March and had a text on the 30th March so now I’m thinking they haven’t received the forms… does everyone get a text?

Yes I received a text for my son and received a letter stating that same date.

Chloelizabeth · 13/05/2026 09:34

our Scan date for mandatory reconsideration was 3rd November, rung today and still not even with a decision maker. I made a complaint as nearly been 8 months, I was wondering if anything happens any quicker if you make a complaint or not

My MR SD was 23rd sept, it’s been with a decision maker since 5th April, as of last week that was still the case. I haven’t made a complaint as I’m sure every time I ring they put mine to the bottom of the pile 😂

Babybell86 · 13/05/2026 12:06

Hi all,
We called the DLA line in the 6th of Feb for an NC and sent the form off on the 13/03. It wasn’t scanned until the 10th of April and it looks like they haven’t backdated it as it was over the 6 weeks. I have a postal receipt for the 13/03, do you think they will backdate it if I challenge it?

So called 6/02
Sent 13/03
Scanned 10/04
payment pending 13/05

Thanks everyone, hope you start getting some decisions soon 👍👍

Fivekidsandcountingsheep · 13/05/2026 15:13

Renewal
sent forms 19th March
no letter or text confirmation
Decision made 26th April one month before claim ends.

I'm a glutton for punishment! Currently waiting for a CoC for my son and NC for my daughter.

CoC SD: 07/04
NC SD: 01/05

Woken up to a payment that works out to be the difference between LRC and MRC, looks like my son's CoC has been successful!
That's only taken a little over 5 weeks, hopefully hear about my daughter's NC soon

I am 09/04 for COC but heard nothing yet! My Little one gets MRC but I think it should be HRC

NimbleQuail · Today 08:21

Morning. Am joining this thread as sent of a NC yesterday (did it special delivery as I don’t trust the post or the DWP!).

I think I was really comprehensive in my answers and typed out an additional five pages expanding on answers. As evidence I had my sons ADHD report which obviously confirmed adhd, said we need to consider underlying cognitive issues and look into ASD. It detailed reports from school that he has significant difficulties in accessing learning but can manage with one to one support in the right environment. I also sent a copy of his school support plan which details all the struggles he has. These also detail his self harm and suicidal ideation as well as deregulation. He’s since been excluded so I’m hoping they don’t see it all as behaviour. Both documents are very comprehensive.

Looks like NC are much quicker now than when I applied for my daughter over a year ago (physical disability).
