Same date as me still in holding Que when I phoned yesterday x

Ac100 · 06/04/2026 20:03

Hi hope everyone is okay. I applied for an MR week of 15th September and still not heard nothing back. Anyone with an MR date the same time and heard anything. I have rung several times over the 30

Hi, is your MR on the back of a COC or a renewal or new claim? Wondering if they are all dealt with the same or if they're split into categories! Thanks x

I also got a MR 15/09 for a COC 11/03 and a renewal sent for 11/06. I was told I might hear back about both at the same time and not to call again.

Laurie899 · 07/04/2026 11:13

Called this morning NC SD 06/03 didn't give me anything apart from they've received it and no decision has been made yet

I am SD NC 20th March so thinking its going to be another 4-5 weeks at least before I hear anything. Hope you get your decision soon!

Sunshineclouds11 · 07/04/2026 18:33

How long do decision letters take to come through?
I know I can ring but honestly I’m scared to haha

spaghettihoops91 · 07/04/2026 19:24

Hey all - how long after being told your MR is with a DM do people usually hear? :)

Perthesmum · 07/04/2026 21:19

So my MR date was 5/9 they did call me 3 weeks ago now saying they have looked at it all and passed it onto a medical team who now want a report from the consultant (for context my child has a physical disability) when I tell you I have sent in numerous consultant letters, occupational therapy reports, xray reports, hospital discharge letters from surgery, proof of blue badge & disability grant for home adaptations, care diaries, risk assessment from school, the list goes on … after waiting all these months for the MR for them to ring me and say ‘we now what a consultant report’ this was 3 weeks ago and not heard a thing since. I wrote in a formal complaint 10 days ago now, asking them to make a decision without the report because I said how long am I suppose to wait until the consultant responds!? They said could be months 🫠 I’ve had enough! May 2025 we started this it’s been nearly a whole year! They have so much evidence I’m in disbelief that they called me 3 weeks ago saying sorry still can’t make a decision can’t believe it I’ve truly had enough!

A renewal. I rang up yesterday and does seem like they’re reading off a script. Same think gets said each time that it could take up to a year and there’s no time frame.

Sammyjane26x · 08/04/2026 09:56

Called for an update today on Mr for the 27th October 23 weeks and said still in queue this wait is mad I think It will be another 6 to 7 weeks wait if lucky

allthenamesitriedweretaken · 08/04/2026 15:10

I've rung today and been told a decision has been made and a letter was sent on 3rd April but couldn't tell me on the phone what the decision was... There's nothing in my bank account, is that an indication it wasn't successful?

allthenamesitriedweretaken · 08/04/2026 15:17

Oh scratch that I've just seen a pending payment on my bank account for just over £500. SD was 3rd march so looks like we have been awarded middle rate? Very pleased and will make a big difference to the private meds whilst waiting for NHS to take over care

Mum0 · 08/04/2026 16:39
