Yes I had a phone call from the DM yesterday and I phoned up today and found out my son got awarded HCR

My son gets HRC LRM but he is entitled to HRM as he has a severe mental incapacity
I hope they don't call when I'm teaching but hopefully I should have something soon xxx

i do know they send you a message to get in touch with them if you do miss the call,I have everything crossed for your son to get the award he should be getting x

Decision maker & case manager are the same people different call handlers call them either a case manager or a decision maker

Thank you and she asked all my personal stuff name,address,bank and also of if I am okay receiving a large sum of money.What care my son needs through the night and how we cope with his meltdowns at home and how do nursery deal with his needs.
I honestly am so shocked as I thought he would only get LRC as he hasn’t even got a diagnosis,only medical evidence I sent was a letter accepting his referral for a Autism assessment and I also put the Health visitor and nursery Senco and it was them who told me to actually make the claim for DLA x

Hello, My small one receives HRC and turns 3 soon, totally unable to move with severe learning disability. I sent the forms for mobility - 3rd week of Jan. I heard nothing so called an they said received 10 feb. My question is, is applying for mobility classed as COC? Are we in for a crazy long wait? And if it's awarded, will it be backdated to his birthday? thank you

Hello, it's a COC. Mine took 13 weeks and it's awarded from 3rd birthday.

MR - 02/09/2025

Just had a large payment from DLA so assuming been elevated from MRC to HRC.

No phone call received. Very fast turn around considering it wasn't even with a decision maker late last week.

MR 1/9
DLA back payment came overnight, matching increase from MRC to HRC!!!
Decreased at renewal, so did MR and my DS getting again what he deserves. Good luck to all still waiting.

It's beyond reasonable now it's been 6 months

I have rang every other day. MR 09/09 and still not with a DM. Was advised today it is close but its an absolute joke and I am should not have to wait over 6 months.

I haven’t phoned in a few weeks now .. because I keep seeing that you’ve phoned and you haven’t been allocated yet to a DM and it’s making me infuriated for you and making me not want to ring for myself 🤣 ahhh!!! I really hope we hear soon!

Mine is 5/9 and I’ve not heard anything but I haven’t called them in a few weeks because I hate them telling me it’s still not with a DM 😩 soon it will be getting onto 7 months!

I seen someone who had a decision from a November MR. Fair play to them but what is going on. The anxiety is unreal. Did you receive anything at initial claim x

NC scan date 6 Feb. Received a payment into my bank account today so think I've been awarded MR care and LR mobility so really delighted it's been processed so quickly. I'd hoped for HR care since DD has a lot of night time needs in addition to the day time but am just so happy it's gone through.

NC Scan date 11/02 I called today and they said it's with a decision maker but said decision can take 2 weeks, I'm so anxious about it hearing how long MR are taking I hope I dont have to go down that route.

Nc sd 11/2 decision made yesterday 17/3 hrc awarded for my newly turned 3 yo. Can’t believe it as I called on Monday and they said it wasn’t with a dm yet and it to give it another week x
