Thags great news, can I ask what evidence you sent originally and if you sent further evidence for MR? I have only registered MR today so a long wait for me yet

22/08 rang up today about mr and was awarded hrc

Mine just took 3 weeks, SD 6/2

Hi, the extra evidence I sent was a detailed report from his specialist school.
They already had his ehcp, ot, EP and all medical information about his pica.
I wrote a statement for each point they said he didnt meet (which was 2 of smi, and VUW) and i cross referenced it to the reports where the evidence was. Hope that helps.

Thanks I sent similar with his renewal and I did send a really detailed letter from his school originally which literally stated he was severely mentally impaired and then gave examples etc, I think I will ask them if they can write something further that I can send, I’ve registered MR but still waiting for statement of reasons so told dla I will be writing a letter stating why I disagree with each reason given and will cross reference this. Well my daughters claim still hasn’t been scanned onto the system yet they signed for it on 16th Feb, rang again this morning rude rally at the postal centre said it can take a few weeks well it’s been 3 weeks today

i have rang today and there has been no decision yet and it hasn’t been allocated to someone either. I hate the waiting .

Congratulations. Was this a complete decine first? And did someone phone you before hand ? Im the 26th August and its still not with anyone i keeps seeing MR from September/October being done.

No I was awarded mcr and now hcr and I rang using option 4 instead of 3 and they told me more information

MR 26 August Just phoned up decision was made yesterday. The lady told me they reasons on the phone that isn't make sense because I had evidence to state all the reasons. Its like they didnt read any of it. I have asked for the DM to phone me. The lady said shes put a message on the system to see if she will. So frustrating as you wait all this time and they cant be bothered to look at the evidence at properly.

Yes I got my txt yesterday my SD is 9/3

Just called as I’ve seen loads going thru around my scan date I’m sooo glad I did! My son was awarded MRC LRM on 08/03/2026 backdated 11 weeks with his back pay £1134.10 already on its way!

5 weeks that took when I applied for my daughter it was 23 week!!!
just waiting on her COC SD 07/01 but not been touched yet and probs won’t for some time
I’ve cried this morning and almost threw up Such a relief

Yep 😩 I had sent extra documents
they lost them and I had to resend them but called today and was told could take another 6 weeks

MR SD 5/9/2026 - still not heard anything but I don’t think they have started the MR’s for September yet?

the latest I seem to have found is 22/23rd August so far?

the waiting is nerve wracking! Worried they won’t even read all the evidence properly anyway! Started this whole thing in May 2025 it’s crazy how long the wait times are!

Hi I’m the 2nd of September. Someone else commented earlier they had the 26th of August MR and I’ve seen the 12th of September online.

Hoping it’s only days/weeks away now as it’s been forever!

Thank god we are finally getting closer! It does feel like forever! So yours is a couple days before mine, can you let us know once you hear from them? Would be a great help! :) I’m going to be devastated if it needs to go to tribunal the wait times on that are even worse I can’t believe how long it all takes! Hoping will hear in the next 2 weeks

Yes I will do! This group has been so helpful to track, I’m thinking 2 weeks also. I’m 27 weeks so was going to give them a ring at 30 weeks but hopefully it will be sorted by then.

I’ve heard tribunal takes so long, so I’m hoping that they just do the right thing by our children! But will keep you updated if I hear anything.

Hey all :) Posted my sons renewal using the freepost envelope a couple of weeks ago. I usually send all the forms tracked but the card machine wasn't working at the Post Office, I was in a rush and the staff assured me it would be fine. I called this morning and it's still not been received/scanned in. Anyone with any words of reassurance? The lady on the phone was lovely and said it can take up to 6 weeks, but I'm getting a little worried.
