Carrying on the waiting right here!

Thank you 💖

Rose1919 · 29/06/2022 07:47

12 April too 🤞🏼

sulli19 · 29/06/2022 07:50

I'm 13th was told yesterday was with case manager so any day now, I hope everyone gets positive outcomes 🤞🤞

NoWordForFluffy · 29/06/2022 07:54

I'd be interested to know the gap between award in working days between decision / payment for those who know what day they were awarded!

I'm summoning the courage to call at 9am. Rationally, if it's a no, I need to know ASAP to do the MR, I'm just not sure it would be helpful to hear it at the start or a working day when I'm meant to be productive! 🤷‍♀️

Yes, that's the one!

Still debating whether to ring again!

You should ring @NoWordForFluffy 😈

I've seen a lot of people who are having renewals done being called by DM to chat about sleep and night time.

Be interesting to see if they call me, atleast I'd get a heads up of when it would be done by the person themselves 😂

Naomi153726 · 29/06/2022 09:07

They are looking at it and you'll find out very soon if you get awarded.

NoWordForFluffy · 29/06/2022 09:15

I'm having a little cry! I told the guy who told me that he's my new favourite person! 🤣🤣

I have a scan date of May 10th so I'm about a month behind you all.

Bizzlemizzle · 29/06/2022 09:20

Oh I cried like a baby when I found out the first time round. Sat in car in traffic with my OH 😂🥺

Fingers crossed its my turn next Monday!

Kc1999x · 29/06/2022 09:23

I haven’t even got the courage to call up😂 when I send my extra evidence off tomorrow I’ll probs call on Monday to double check it’s received and see where I’m at, scan date 26th April.

sulli19 · 29/06/2022 09:23

@NoWordForFluffy congratulations xxx

sulli19 · 29/06/2022 09:24

I was told yesterday ring in a week, but if I havnt heard anything by Friday I'm ringing then, it's only a couple working days behind 🤣

Bizzlemizzle · 29/06/2022 09:38

@sulli19 I thought about doing the same, I just can't help myself.

I'll see how I feel Friday 😋

sulli19 · 29/06/2022 09:40

@Bizzlemizzle I'm hoping I just get a text lol, if you get a text can you just ring and ask what the award was? I'd feel cheeky asking sounds daft I know 🤣

Bizzlemizzle · 29/06/2022 09:45

@sulli19 I'd be straight on the phone if I got a text in calling hours haha.

After seeing they're actually calling people with renewals due to ask questions I'm now paranoid ill miss that call.

Such a roller coaster of a time.

sulli19 · 29/06/2022 09:48

@Bizzlemizzle it really is a rollercoaster, iv never had a call when renewing my daughters claim. This is my sons first claim, it's all changed since I did an initial first claim, I never waited like this with my daughter it's so hard, years ago the letters would be with you in couple days now it's a couple weeks. It's like they enjoy making us anxious lol

Bizzlemizzle · 29/06/2022 09:53

@sulli19 I think they use a postal system that is cheaper called "UK Mail" possibly and they are notorious for taking ages to throw any letters out, even though they are delivered by Royal Mail, seems daft that it would be cheaper to have the middle man.

I can't remember if they still use them but I know they did when I first claimed and it would explain why it takes so long. It gets sorted by one place and then sent to another instead of just going straight to Royal Mail centres.
