Scan date 12 April, with a DM, no sign of a decision yet.

I am going to do on Thursday

Honestly I was like yous didn’t want to ring but so glad I did. U never know. Lol pluck up the courage and just ring haha

Iv rang as on 12 week scan date 30th they said waiting to be assigned a dm and ring back next week

No I didn't ring them this morning, but I had one weeks payment go into my bank, I think that was the final payment from the current claim so I've convinced myself the renewals been declined.

I'm going to call them at 9 tomorrow morning.

Have you heard anything? X

Yes I have done an MR. I called up and got the reasons which were basically ‘there’s no diagnosis’ even though they’re both on the ASD pathway and the team asked for an additional ADHD assessment.
That my son is 6 and is probably copying his friends and it’s not unusual for a child of his age to need extra help, supervision etc.
That my daughters Hypermobility might make her clumsy but she can get up and carry on?! Even though that’s rubbish. She’s broken her toe twice and ended up in hospital with soft tissue damage to her elbow after falling.

i argued my point and sent off extra documents and now waiting to hear back but I’m not hopeful at all.

Oh no way I would love to know how they make their decisions I’m not very hopeful as I don’t have much evidence as waiting on camhs to see him.

I just called too, told me another 4 weeks and currently working on 9th May. I suffer bad with anxiety and this is making me so ill.

The waiting times are really bad it really doesn’t help things at all

@MrsFortSQ ah right, sounds like that's what your owed from your current claim, doesn't necessarily mean bad news, fingers crossed let me know how the call goes. No I haven't heard anything as of yet. I'm going to ring Friday I think as my ds claim runs out Tuesday, so hopefully they've got a decision by then x

1st July is my scan date, so looking at about another 5 weeks. My son is 7 and diagnosed ASD but I don’t feel I sent a strong application off, however that may be 8 weeks of convincing myself that, rather then it actually being the case. What an awful process though, praying you and your babies get what is deserved without too much fight, as I personally don’t know if I could go through with a MR. I found the form and wait awful enough 😩xx

@2under2and1more my son also received middle rate. I’m wondering if it’s because his 3 and a half though. We got a diagnosis of ASD after I put the claim in, so wondering if I should appeal or not and send off the extra evidence. His also having a lot more therapies now because of the diagnosis which he wasn’t having when I sent the form off.

Scan date 1st June, I don't think it matters when your scan date was it's whos desk it ends up on, my claim has been with decision maker for over 3weeks I've called every week since and each person I speak to can't tell me why it hasn't been seen too yet that will send him a message and will call me back but I never do recieve the call back, they did say on my first call he had put it on hold to be looked at a further date because when I sent in more evidence they hadn't linked this to my account when received it so the dm wouldn't of known I had sent it in so is best to call if send in any evidence to make sure its been linked to your account and showing received, its definitely a long stressful process especially if declined and need to wait further to appeal, no wonder some people don't bother claiming and children miss out on what they deserve.

Hi everyone, I posted on a previous post back in May when I applied for my daughter. She's currently 11 month. I rang for forms on 12th May, scanned on 28th May. Today I checked my bank and have been awarded! X

@kbe15 aw that’s great news! I got my forms in May to but My scan date was 15th June so hopefully not much longer! X

@Lynseyb91 thank you! It was a long wait be worth it! No I don't think yours will be much longer, only a couple of weeks in it! X
