So lovely to see people being awarded. Just wondering how you know your scan date. Do you have to phone them? We sent ours off 3 weeks ago but not heard if they have received it or anything at all. Do you get a letter?

Bournecrazy · 29/06/2022 18:55

@40anddoingitagain yes we got a letter about 3 weeks after I posted it to say they've got it and there is a date on the letter say when it was scanned. I posted mine on May 5th and they scanned it on the 10th of that helps.

40anddoingitagain · 29/06/2022 18:57

Thank you so much. That’s very helpful 😀

sulli19 · 29/06/2022 19:39

@NoWordForFluffy I would ring sooner but think I'm bothering them, I have been leaving it nearly 2 weeks each time iv rang but now I know its being sorted this week I'm more anxious to ring. I have a feeling it's still not decided yet though lol x

Outnumberedbyboys3 · 29/06/2022 22:52

I never had a text. I called Thursday to ask and wasn’t even with a decision maker then by today (Wednesday) money in my bank so I think once it gets to a DM it happens quite quickly.
Im eagerly awaiting our letter so can see what rate and how long for!

NoWordForFluffy · 30/06/2022 06:06

I have the money pending for tomorrow, which is reassuring!

I hope others get good news soon. 🤞

I have a scan date of May 10th so I'm about a month behind you all.

Hi I'm May the 10th too. Mines a renewal is yours a renewal or a new claim? X

Who do you bank with?

HSBC. I used to be with Lloyds (in fact I've tarted about the banks following the free money offers for switching!) and this is the first bank I've had which does this.

Found the new thread 🤣 tried posting on the old one lol scan date was 12th April and was awarded HRC for 2 years on Tuesday 😁 can I just ask if anyone is with Halifax please and how long it took for your back pay? Was it 3 days or closer to 5? (Hoping there's still some people on here who have been awarded from last thread 🙈)

NoWordForFluffy · 30/06/2022 08:11

@Twinmummyanda7yearold, we were awarded the same day, so I'd think yours would be tomorrow like mine.

Awww so you was Tuesday too in the end! Fingers crossed it should be in tomorrow then 🤞🏼 trying to work out if I can blow some money on my little girl or not or if it will leave me screwed if it doesn't go in tomorrow 🤣🤣

NoWordForFluffy · 30/06/2022 08:17

I blew a load on a credit card and will pay it back tomorrow! 🤣🤣

I think they say 3-5 days to cover themselves, but if you Google about BACS payments this process has driven me loopy! then day 3 is standard!

We desperately need a second car to be able to get him around safely, and possibly move him schools and we have like 10 different plans depending on the outcome of our renewal. I just want to be able to start getting the ball rolling but we are stuck until we know.

Even just HRC will help us get a car for him as it will free up cash from elsewhere and the extra money can go directly on his extra things, I've changed my mind and don't think we will quite get HRM due to evidence and will just gather more evidence when I actually get it (still waiting on reports from March) and do a COC later down the line.

Were also waiting on an appeal from a declined Blue Badge application, our LA is properly shit, the reasoning was because they don't give them out for Austism, so I went on about all the legislations and how it's a "hidden" disability and added a few more bits of evidence.
I am dreading the EHCP process just because of how they are. I'm ready to get our local MP involved if I have to because I'm so fed up 🥺😂
