Carrying on the waiting right here!

Scan date 12 April, with a DM, no sign of a decision yet.

That's similar to my dates, @sulli19; congratulations! You'll have almost £1.3k back pay heading your way!

@NoWordForFluffy yes that's what she said I missed the full amount but she said £1200 and something I do remember the 40p part at the end though lol x

Uz91 · 30/06/2022 12:40

Same! I’m May 7th so after reading all the threads I’m just going to hold of ringing

Uz91 · 30/06/2022 12:41

Oh I see! I bank with Barclays and I can’t see when I have a payment pending to come through was just intrigued lol

Kim2005 · 30/06/2022 13:03

27th April scan date here 😁 9 weeks yesterday. Just got off the phone. Told my case is where it should be at this point, and I SHOULD hear next week. Claims are taking 10 weeks atm she said 😁🤞🏻

Mummy2boys1520 · 30/06/2022 13:15

I'm waiting on a MR mine with the decision maker now. Has anyone gone through a MR and it been successful

Spacemonkey2016 · 30/06/2022 13:16

Quick questions ladies. Scan date of 5th May so a few weeks left for me yet. My daughter's needs have got so much worse recently. Would you send an updated 'typical day' to them, or do you think there's no point?

Hammers91 · 30/06/2022 13:46

@sulli19 YAYYY!!!! I cried down the phone too on Monday where I literally had to ask twice was she sure he was awarded 🤣

NoWordForFluffy · 30/06/2022 13:59

Even though the guy I spoke with confirmed all the dates and figures to me, I still then doubted I'd heard it right! Seeing the pending payment this morning was therefore very reassuring. 🤣🤣

Hi am new here and just wondering if anyone is from the Middlesbrough area and is awaiting dla for there child. And how long the wait was mines only been in 3 weeks

Boymummax · 30/06/2022 15:00

@Mummy2boys1520 do you know how long MR'S are taking at the moment? They received mine on the 17th of june, so not even been 2 weeks yet but the lady on the phone who confirmed it was received did say between 3-4 weeks, just wondering if yours is in that time frame too?

Mummy2boys1520 · 30/06/2022 15:03

@Boymummax mine was 5 weeks Monday. But has been with dm since last Wednesday apparently

Boymummax · 30/06/2022 15:05

@Mummy2boys1520 oh so passed the time frame they said to me! How annoying! Hope you get the outcome you want :)

Mummy2boys1520 · 30/06/2022 15:10

@Boymummax seems really quick compare to the wait of actually being awarded. And when I did the coc. Same but I'll appeal if they don't as I have sent so much evidence which support it

Naomi153726 · 30/06/2022 15:18

Ive had the text! Scan date 13th april x

Kirstiiee · 30/06/2022 15:56

I phoned today, scanned date 22nd April, she was so lovely, she said could be another week or 2. She said they are working on 13th April week atm. xx

Sarah15207 · 30/06/2022 16:10

Mine was scanned 22nd April aswell. I'm not holding my breath though as it's for my daughter's severe mental health troubles. I'm currently filling in pip form for myself too due to cancer. Neve done dla or pip and now doing both in the space of months. The wait is horrible isn't it.

@Naomi153726 congratulations xxx

Kc1999x · 30/06/2022 17:31

If your claim has been unsuccessful do they take and say this or is that just a letter?

Kc1999x · 30/06/2022 17:32

GrapePearPea · 30/06/2022 17:55

Ohhh I’ve only just posted my daughters form. Guess a long wait ahead. Is there any anomalies in that someone hears back far quicker or are we destined to wait the 10 weeks or so 🤯

NoWordForFluffy · 30/06/2022 18:02

Some people slip through the net, @GrapePearPea.

Bournecrazy · 30/06/2022 18:54

@Divadee1980 all applications go to the sane place so it's not based on area, you just get added to the pile and it goes in date order

Nicole220825 · 30/06/2022 20:36

Hi
new here, I forgot my scan date but it was around 18th April. I had a letter Monday just gone from DWP saying sorry taking so long etc. Has anyone else had this?
