Making hay while the sun shines and always adoring Beatrice.

I have chosen the thread title this time, because current circumstances means the sun isn't always shining for Beatrice at the moment. Indeed, she is currently in hospital in a fair amount of discomfort. However, when the sun does shine, and we have bright and clear days, we pack in as much as we can.

When we brought Beatrice home from SCBU, we had the consultant's words ringing in our ears, 'Take her home and make some memories.' I feel confident and proud that we have made a treasure trove of memories, however long Beatrice's life may be. She continues to be surrounded by so much love and adoration from her family and I feel this love has helped her to thrive.

During the difficult days, such as these, we pray hard for peace and calm, and for a quick resolution so we can take our darling girl home and make even more precious memories with our beautiful Beatrice.

As with all other threads, same rules apply , read if you want to, post if you can, but above all, please spare some positive thoughts or prayers for Beatrice.

I've just read Beatrice's first thread. It seems like a life time ago that I was writing those words. Hasn't she come a long way?! Haven't we all come a long way? And lots of you are still here, still praying for Beatrice and thinking of her- how fantastic is that?! Feeling a bit emotional tonight, perhaps it's the sleep-depravation from the hospital, or perhaps it's the realisation that Beatrice is a complete and utter super star even though our journey has been very eventful. I'm so thankful for her life, and so thankful that she was born to me. I know I've said it before, but she's taught me so so much, I can't put into words how much of a gift her life has been. I pray we have lots more time together, but in case we don't, I'm loving her more every day, just to be safe.

Cup as always I am in awe of your strength and bravery. I remember reading your first posts, I remember you writing on the October baby bus before Bea arrived. The lessons Bea is teaching you are being passed on through you. Reading your journey, you have taught me so much about what it is to be a mother, and I feel privileged that you chose to share your journey and Bea with us. She is a beacon of hope to me, sometimes I feel low, I remember how such a small person is fighting so hard. X

Yes we've come along with you on Beatrice's voyage and it honestly has taught me a lot.

So glad you and Bea are home. So honoured to be a virtual cheerer on for your family's journey.

Yay for home comings and triple yay for bea kisses! Once again she proves to everyone just how special she is x

I know we have said it before but it's just amazing how, in the past 8.5 months, your little lady has touched so many lives.
