Nothing much to report in the house of Ben tonight which is great ....no hospitalisations, no problems in school and DH got a met in his yearly appraisal which he was panicking about given my poor health and DS's assessments and dx having caused so much upheaval this year.

DH out for most of the weekend so DS and I can chill out and do nothing, maybe order a takeaway or do a drive through McDs tomorrow - sounds pretty good to me!

Finally asked my old university friend whether her DS1 had a dx having noticed his obsessions with trains, pylons and wires for years. He is due to get a dx next week! Him and DS already think that they are best friends even though they haven't ever met .

you're not a newbie dev although by pure coincidence I am also 21, I am most put out that my dcs no believe that! I get very confused by name changing though and lost track of those that stayed but NC. Wasn't on fb back then so didn't jump.

no, sorry Dev. My memory is very bad. (Example being, dh has just walked in and asked what the dcs had for tea ... then I realised I'd forgotten to feed them! )

I remember arsenic/carrot because she went out of her way to be nice to me when I was new and struggling.

I am not on fb - or twitter - or anything but MN really. If I was I could potentially lose whole days, rather than just partial days like wot I do now!

arsenic had a big pointy stick she used to lend out when needed, a very useful piece of kit that was!

I thought you meant you had too many kids, so I was thinking either respite worker or sn teacher. Then you said your own but still saying due to many young complex kids.....................how many do you have??

At least its not just my dcs that are starving then zzzzz. Dh is now feeding mine though, so I am off the hook.

I have too many kids as well - but then again I thought that when I only had one and I was still stoopid enough to have two more.

Found out one of my films needs to be in on May the 8th, not the 25th as I thought, and I need to do 2 shoots and edit it. Joy of joys, go uni for not keeping me informed.

I can't stop procrastinating.

BUT:

Both film ideas are sorted and the one due on the 8th won't take long to shoot or edit.

DBF came to the exhibition last night to see my film and photos

Had a great weekend at the ice hockey playoffs last weekend

4 here! Would love more, but DH would probably leave me, so he had the snip instead. Sigh.....

You lot make me feel tired 3, 4, 5 and 6 children. 1 is tiring enough for me

Sorry Lollipop that your work got ruined and it sounds like you are doing well with the films :)

You both have your hands full compared to me and I barely cope. I had 5 children here on Wednesday, 2 with needs and I made dh book the afternoon off work. Actually, I think I could have coped if the other child with needs (as opposed to my own) hadn't been here, not because of his needs, but because him and ds1 locked horns from the off, as they are very similar.

Mind you, he is the same child that walked into my house last time and said "Your house is old, small and needs decorating. My house is much nicer - it's huge and everything is new and clean." He's not wrong either.
