NC = New Claim
MR = Mandatory Reconsideration

Letter dated 20/08 to say they are looking into the claim

NC, SD 14/07. Called earlier this week and told everything has been scanned onto the system and it's in the que for a DM. Best of luck everyone! ✨

27th July rang this morning told its in dm que waiting for case worker to pick it up!

My SD was 01-07. The DM called me on Monday to ask further questions. I sent further evidence on Monday (recorded next day delivery) he said over the phone that he is awarding mrc but was undecided on mobility. I sent over her safety plan but I am not sure this is enough evidence, I am going to call today and check the DM has this. Good luck all of you! I think I am on week 11 now? And also 6 weeks previous to this too as it took me ages after ringing for the forms to actually get it all done. I feel like I could continuously send more evidence as she has finally been accepted for an assessment with camhs, she is now getting therapy too and waiting for an assessment for adhd and asd. Let’s see what happens

text to say they received the forms on 28th July 2026
a letter saying they had the forms and requesting birth certificate on 6th August 2026.

been told on the phone the scan date will be 6th August, so just impatiently waiting for the outcome now.

Scan date 29/7 and losing the will waiting 🤯 Good Luck to everyone and fingers crossed it won’t be much longer…

NC: 13th of July

Called up on Monday and had the file manually registered, she told me it was sent to a DM so I know it’s with someone but just waiting is the hardest part atm and was told it takes as long as it takes. Good luck everyone and hopefully we here soon.

So many people have been awarded even if they didn’t give a decision on the phone. Try ring back and ask again, it’s worked with a few people on here

try this - ring up option 4 I think it was after u have pressed option 5. Ask if they can let you know the payment date. I did this even though I didn’t know if been awarded or not and they had told me the amount that was going in the bank then told me rates etc. try this and let us know- good luck xx

thanks but don't feel very hopeful, I think I will wait to see if I receive a payment if not back to the dreaded waiting of MR, will keep you updated tho . if I was awarded yesterday when would I expect a payment

Laura771 I hope it's not bad news for you.

They say 3-5 working days for payment processing so wouldn’t be until next week as we are on Friday. I’d just give them another call, it will be a different person there are a lot of call handlers that are really helpful 🤞for you x

thank you i had this with my son last year, he never got it then I did Mr he got MCR and lm, then I did change circumstances and he's now on hrc, so annoying just wish they would award at first save the workload of Mr for them as well

Hi my son on dla and I got a text on the 30th June saying they've received the review form what is taking so long for them to get back to me because another time I've had a reply pretty early

Hi all. New here (on this thread, was here a few years ago with my eldest!)
I have a SD of 10/8 so a bit more of a wait I would imagine. I had forgotten how agonising it is waiting for a stranger that's never met my child to make a decision 😕
Trying to hold off a call as I know it's still pretty early days so chances are wouldn't find out much.
