I’ve been told all different things option 5 then 2. I have also used option 5 then 4 xx

I’ve found they are far more helpful on option 4 xx

Yeah I always use option 4 when they don’t tell you if awarded or not. Works everytime! I just think different apartments may have different access to records etc. il try again Monday xx

Hey everyone, I got an update this morning!
Scan date 10th July. Forms called for on the 8th june.
I called this morning as I was told on Wednesday my claim was with a DM. Today a lovely lady told me my son was awarded on the 9th of September.
Back pay from june 8th, to September 15th is heading to my account..
He got high rate care, and low rate mobility.

Son is 12. Diagnosed with autism and dyslexia. Also hyper mobility, and is attending musculoskeletal and the sleep clinic. He is also home educated due to his autism.
He also has an in turned right leg / foot.
All stated above I had evidence for, and sent them in.

Im so so happy for him! Im planning (a secret surprise for him) to make over his bedroom to fit his needs, and provide extra equipment to help his muscle pains.
Im so relieved!

I wish everyone the best of luck!! Dont be afraid to call, honestly, the lady i had explained all my pay dates, how much and how often. He is awarded until 2031.

Hi! Have you got a pending payment on your bank or not? Mine was decided on the same date but the guy wouldn’t tell me if it was successful or not 😩 so trying to work out if it means I was declined because I see no pending payment for money except my child benefit 🙈 x

No, she told me everything over the phone. She said it will be in my bank by 15th. She told me its 149 per week. And my first 4 week payment will be October 13th. I dont think all call handlers tell the caller if they have it or not, its rare to get one who does. The lady I had was wonderful!
I hope you get good news! My bank doesnt show any incoming payments anyway. X

NC- scan date 27/4/2026 next week is 20 weeks waiting. I will call tomorrow to check in. Always feel worried when you see others do quick. Guess no news is bad news. 🫣

Wow that’s a long time.
did you send evidence? Can only hope it’s because they have contacted medical professionals and waiting to hear back from them? This is what I worry about as I know if they contact ENT for my daughter they have no chance of a response.

My SD is 03/08/2026.

I called on 10th sept to ask for a address to send extra evidence. The person was lovely and said application was in queue waiting for a DM. She was absolutely sure it was as I asked a few questions about that and the process.

However, I rang back the next day to let them know I won't be sending the evidence (my printer has broke and it's only an email from school so decided to risk not sending) the woman was awful! She was really rude and when I said I was told it was in queue for DM she wasnt happy and said the other person shouldn't have told me that...scared to ever call back again now hahaha xx

Both calls was the option 4 route xx

I’ve found the same issue with option 4 it can definitely be hit or miss with whoever answers

NewBlueOP · 13/09/2026 15:36

It’s crazy that they are allowed to be so rude. We pay their wages with our taxes- they should have a feedback option for callers! I’ve found the DM was really helpful and explained everything. It seems some of the workers are just awful and probably aren’t held accountable for this.
