NC = New Claim
MR = Mandatory Reconsideration
SC = Scan Date

Im waiting on outcome of my DD's renewal due 29/09/2026

I’m thinking I will Friday if I’ve heard nothing by then. It’s the silence, it’s really nerve wracking. I much prefer scotlands way of applying online with clear stages you can track!

I’m the 13th and I’ve seen dates after ours on Facebook so I’m assuming it’s any day now. But I wish it was more easier to track!

The DM told me that everything that I had written had to be supported by a professional. Not sure if that is the standard now. Most of it was supported by school and other medical professionals- except her night needs which I am going to get support with now. It just wasn’t a priority with everything else going on. So many forms 😭

I am waiting till weds to call again. My scan date was 1st July but I sent extra evidence so I think it made mine delayed then the DM had to speak to me which then ment I sent more evidence again 🤣🫣 he said he wasn’t sure on mobility so was waiting for that. I hate the wait and the unknown.

That sounds similar to what happened with mine. They had the form and I had a scan date, but when I called it turned out it still wasn’t fully registered/processed on the system. Once I called they sorted it. Might be worth checking what stage yours is actually at rather than waiting until Friday x

It’s the not knowing where you are at that’s the worst part, even if the process was clearly explained it would be easier. I would have thought you would have heard something after your calls with DM. Mine are 4 and 5 and on waiting lists for various things, so don’t have much more to give them than what I’ve already sent just going to have to keep everything crossed x

Yeah that happened with mine, it was registered and put on the system on 03/08. So I know it’s all fine, just waiting to be looked at I suppose.

Hello so they had to manually register this for me last Monday, do you mind telling me how long it took for a decision once they registered it for you? Thank you!!

For those still waiting, I called yesterday and was told I was still in a queue and this morning I received a message saying my child is entitled to DLA, that's how quickly it can happen!!! I was a NC, SD 14/07, so anyone around that date, should get their decision soon. Wishing everyone the best of luck and fairy dust ✨

Hiya, I’m still waiting I called last week and told it’s now waiting to be picked up for a decision. My scan is 30/7. x

Oh okay great! Fingers crossed! I didn’t know it was a thing to not have it properly registered so I’m glad I’m not on my own. If I hear anything I will let you know x

I have rung this morning said it's with a decision maker in the final stages, will I get a decision today or still wait weeks?

Nor did I until I started asking specific questions about their IT systems. The guy on the phone thought I was a bit bonkers until I confessed I’ve a systems background 🤣 I think it’s this first registration stage that mostly causes the randomness with some dates being done whilst others are waiting. x

Ive just called I submitted an MR 6/7 said decision not made, it will be as quick as they can and can’t give me a timeframe. I asked if it was still in a queue which is what I was told last week. He said that they are basically waiting for a response from decision makers and I will get MR notice in the post and don’t need to call again if they need anything they will call me x

Morning all - is it looking more like a 9 week wait now? When I sent my forms most were getting decisions within 5-7 weeks😫🤣

Im still waiting scandate july 3rd for a renewal

So I spoke to them today decision was made 10th as I’ve had no payment guessing it was denied

Mine was 9 weeks on the dot!

I believe it's 3-5 days so still have up to Thursday? X

Think mine has been a decline everyone. I was told on the phone that a decision was made last Wednesday and I e received no back payment 🥺 I’ll have to submit an MR. Congratulations to everyone else who’s been successful so far though x

Amazing - I'm 8 weeks on Thursday, hopefully I hear something next week! X

Mine will be 9 week on Thurday, hoping I hear then. 🤞🤞🤞
