Made a new thread for those of you who need to discuss wait times and ask questions!
Please post your scan dates etc

NC = New Claim
MR = Mandatory Reconsideration
SC = Scan Date

Im waiting on outcome of my DD's renewal due 29/09/2026

Hi, dates are a bit all over the place. Have seen some on Facebook with 12/08 dates receive payment this morning. I’ve got 2 a new claim 30/7 and a MR 6/7 x

um just waiting for school to finish and my mother in law to pick the children up and I’ll call when it’s quiet😂 I’m getting Angsty now

i have in fact dialled the number 😂 I need to pick my son up from nursery in 30 minuets, wonder if I get through in time 😂

i tried calling but after waiting 30 mins I got bored 🤣

i have phoned every week since they scanned my form and always been told it’s waiting to be allocated to a decision maker. Phoned again 10 mins ago and she told me they only have limited info, not to phone again unless they contact me they are experiencing high volumes of calls and applications (I will call again Monday 😂)

NC scan date 28th July requested and send birth certificate 4th August rang yesterday and it’s waiting to be picked up by a decision maker. I’m fully expecting my little one to get declined due to age but we will see x

How old is your little one if you don't mind me asking. This is my first time I'm claiming and little one is only 2 so I'm anxious about getting rejected.

@ShyRedCrow my little boy is also only just over 2! I think at this age it’s because they say a 2 year old requires a lot of care anyway which yes I agree they do but we no our children and what extra care ect we have to give but writing it down seems overwhelming😅 but I have everything crossed for us both we get the outcome our children deserve and if not and it gets declined we go in for a mr. Xx

This is so funny because I also did the same thing😂😂will try again after I’ve sorted the kids😂

I know they say that a 2 year old needs a lot of care but your right we also know our children and I have other children as well and can see the difference between them and my 2 year old. Thank you I'm hoping for good news for you too and definitely going for a MR if declined xx

Okay so I’m on hold, I’m on speaker and I’ve turned it down because my fiance is binge watching secret lives 😂 but there’s like a rhythmic bell ringing sound on the hold music and it keeps freaking him out because it sounds like the noise our fridge makes when the doors left open to long😂 took me a while to notice but now I’m annoyed by it too hahahaha

@ShyRedCrow me too! I have a 11 year old boy and can see the massive difference I know children develop differently ect but even the hv has seen it with my little boy. He’s regressed since being 1 aswell he was talking some words ect and can not say a single word now and he sensory seeks a lot he head bangs stims and all sorts! He doesn’t sleep at night he’s up at least 7 times a night! There’s a massive difference in the care that’s needed for him compared to my older child at that age xx

@mammyoflilyandluca you seem to be on hold forever at the moment with them don’t you, I was for ages yesterday luckily got a lovely women but I’ve had a few where they just make you feel like you are being a pest lol x

There’s a couple one called DLA support group there’s a post for scan dates etc with over 1k comments there’s allsorts of dates in there, individual posts too which is useful.
Then another DLA -disability living allowance has lots of posts but not all the comments come up which is a bit annoying x

Tell me about it😂 the longest I’ve been on hold is like 57 minuets so I think I’m used to it now hahahah, this will be my third time ringing up, 1st time I had woman who wasn’t rude just didn’t seem interested, can’t blame her tbh, the second time I had a lovely lady called Megan who couldn’t have been more helpful, hoping for Megan to pick up the phone today😂

I did my 2 year old nephews form. He had proof of referral, school senco lead letter and also paediatric letter and the report from health visitor to say he was behind on his milestones. She got HRC x

I’ve just rang and have been told that the system has changed and they no longer can see if it’s waiting in cue with DM or CW, he said they only see it’s in cue pending that’s all. My SD is 6/8 he said it’s fully registered and they do this when they have made sure everything is filled out clearly etc x

@Lynseyxx i have letters from the health visitor stating referrals have been made and sent over the reports from her ect but he can’t go to a nursery atm as non can accommodate him near me so I’m really worried I haven’t got enough evidence x

I’m sure you will be fine. Did you type up anything yourself ? That helps like day to day routine what it looks like etc. I always do this with all claim forms I do x

I have the same scan date as you. Currently on phone to them 45mins and counting. 😫

What option did you go through? They seem to say this intermittently. I got told the same thing weeks ago but have since been told status xx

I’ve been told all different things option 5 then 2. I have also used option 5 then 4 xx

I got through in ten mins, which option did you use? Have you had any luck xx
