Made a new thread for those of you who need to discuss wait times and ask questions!
Please post your scan dates etc

NC = New Claim
MR = Mandatory Reconsideration
SC = Scan Date

Im waiting on outcome of my DD's renewal due 29/09/2026

Good luck everyone.

I'm only on 6 weeks tomorrow and already feel like my stress is so high waiting lol...I feel my boy (13 and suspected ASD and DCD, still on waiting lists for assessment etc) definitely qualifies for this so absolutely want him to be awarded and I've been mentally thinking if he gets it then it'll mean we can get private OT support and some neurodivergent affirming therapy which I think he could really benefit from (sadly NHS we'd be waiting forever for anything like this as still even waiting for assessment for diagnoses) so I know how life changing it could be for him but I also keep saying to myself not to get hopes up but it's so hard not to think about how much it could help my son.

Sorry bit of a rant there lol x

Hi everyone just an update- NC SD- 13th July.
I called Wednesday 9th September for an update and I got told it was still in a queue.. got a call Thursday 10th from a decision maker for some more information, called back today to see if a decision had been made and it did on the 10th! Hopefully people around this date hear soon 😊 so glad the wait is over with

I can’t call till Wednesday as I am on training. Today and tomorrow

Congratulations 🎉 mines a new claim scan date is the 20th July so hopefully not long now but at the same time they seem to be all over with the date so who knows.

Oh brilliant! My SD was 17th July so maybe I could receive an answer soon. You just never know so I won't get my hopes up!

Just called and they stated they are still awaiting decision, they are unsure if with a case handler or not, apparently they can't see this there end due to new system. They are putting a note on when I sent what which was before the cut off, even though I sent a fair few days before cut off, but didn't do tracked post!! But it's only short a few days so we'll see.. scan date 10th august. Letter confirming registered, dated 17th August. Started process 28th June with cut off of 7th August.. so 3 days short, wish I sent recorded!

Does anyone know if the scan date is the day you received the text or the day the letter you receive is dated? Thank you x

I think it’s the we received your claim on date within the letter and the date on the letter is the registration date.

I was told exactly the same!! Although I was told a few weeks ago that it was with DM then the next week it wasn't it was still in cue 😅

Ahh I see! As the we received your claim date on mine is the 22nd of July and then the letter is dated the 29th! So I wasn’t sure if I was wrong this entire time saying the 22nd 🤣 thank you x

Has anyone rang today? I'm in two minds whether to ring, they seem to give me different stories x
