Last few days on Holiday!

Took my dad across the Queensferry Bridge today then we went to Harvester for lunch. Had Cajun chicken, baked potato, corn on the cob and speedy salad,

Making Spaghetti Bolognese for tea with salad and cheese.

Then got Burlesque. Am knackered though. But it will do me good!

Peach Coke is nice. Vanilla is still the best though.
B overnight oat bran 22g with rhubarb and vanilla yoghurt and frozen berries

D - chicken wrap with salad

B - porridge with blueberries and strawberries (hexB & half hexA)
L - Mediterranean pasta with veg leftovers, with small amount of mozzarella (half hexA). Alpen light bar (3syns)
D - 5 heck chicken Italia sausages (2.5syns)

Snacks - apple, grapes, melon, blueberries, strawberries with 2 mini meringues (2syns) and fat free Greek yoghurt

So ending on 7.5 syns

Lost 2lbs tonight which means I lost my gain from last week and a bit more.

Didn't stay to group as I'm full of cold and wanted to come home and chill.

Had soup that I had made yesterday for brunch minus the prawns as my daughter had picked them out already.
Supper was gammon with vegetable rice.
Snacks were a red grapefruit, clemantines and tomatoes.

Syns were 3 for the coconut milk in the soup and chilli sauce in rice.

Has anybody made the Slimming Eats recipe for Syn Free Cheeseburger pasta? We weren't very sure about it. I followed the recipe and added the sugar/sweetener, but don't think it needs it. Also felt there could be more vegetables in it.

I don't use the sweetener and I add mushrooms and serve with a big side salad for cheeseburger pasta.

Thank you, Groovee I was thinking about adding mushrooms and courgettes. I think the pickles can go too, as neither my DH or DD liked them.

@ OhCobblers I don't belong to a group and I started by reading the slimming world magazine. That tells you how SW works . Then I looked online and started chatting to other people who are all willing to offer help and cheer you on .This moment in time I've lost 1 1/2 stone and am trying to maintain it.That is a job in itself 😀

I also don’t belong to a group. I work shifts/nights and would never be able to go to the same group each week

Plus I refuse to pay £6/8 a week for someone to Weigh me

Support on here is better imo

Sw mag and google recipes etc help

Had the Iceland SW meal chinese banquet style rice for tea and I was suprised , it was alright. SW meals are usually yuk.

oohhh new thread. Hi all and well done on the losses. I myself lost 2.5lb in my 2nd weigh in. Total of 7.5lb lost. Got my half stone award too. Only 14.5lb to go to make me 9st 8lb. It may not sound a lot but it really is mainly all on my stomach and face. It gets me down that I always look pregnant lol.

Hi all, congrats on getting to target groovee!

I've not been for ages, went about 3 weeks ago and was really annoyed as I had gained after staying on track all week. Been on holiday for a week with family which was fab, and now back, weigh in on Tuesday, so trying to stay on track now.

According to my scales, I'm ok, but would like to lose a bit by Tuesday to make sure I'm in the target range! I'm thinking of changing my target, I think I've set it too low, I am struggling to stay near it. Are you allowed to do that? I want to set it at 3lb higher than where it was.

Morning all!

Does anyone else find school holidays really hard? I’m hoping for a STS this week because whilst breakfast and dinner have been alright, lunch if we are out and picking at shite are bringing me down. I’ve no excuses really except will power but there you go.

Had a banana for breakfast and am doing a SW style fry up for brunch for me and a friend before we are out for the day. We are having dinner out and as we will be at the seaside I am prepared for the fact it might be fish and chips and not much alternative.

@ Blondes - I feel the same way about the group. I put 1lb on today but not bothered as we went out for a meal midweek and I've eaten Sensations crisps and Maltesers bunnies. I'll try to take it back off next week 😉

Checking in, stil miserable weather here. But I'm holding out for the warm weather we've been promised next week! Been to the gym thus morning and then grocery shopping, so skipped breakfast as I don't like exercising straight after eating. Have had a good lunch to make up for it.

L - bacon, fried egg, mushrooms,bacon, beans, 2 slices of wholemeal toast.
D - pork stir fry (Chinese 5 spice sauce) with noodles.

Owl is, you should be able to change your target, but I think you can only change it in 7lb slots. Your consultant might be nice and let you though.

Have had a good few days, had fish and chips last night (planned).

Can’t wait for tomorrow, having an SP day which means pizza! Mmmmm
