I think it's the weather as I've been all over the place this week too. Ive been nibbling on mini Maltesers bunnies every say. I keep telling myself it's ok cos I just want to stay the same now but it will start creeping on .This week for sure 😯

MyGuideJools · 11/04/2018 13:04

Alemonypea I remember you too🙋‍♀️(I was Lavender)
you've done loads better than me keeping it off!Star
i lost 5 stone last year, then very quickly put 3 stone back on after my dad died.
so, ive joined again and have lost a stone since Feb. it seems harder this time tho.

Groovee · 11/04/2018 13:11

Welcome back tweety.

Met my friend who has moved classes this morning. She couldn't get over the difference in me. That was really nice.

I'm lost with my days today lol

That must have been so encouraging Groove.

I'm back to work now but I was off for almost two weeks. I had no idea what day of the week it was. I think the lack of routine makes it really hard to stick to plan. Lots of days out and Easter egg hunts with the kids doesn't help either.

I've decided to start exercising again. Just finished a 20 minute workout on youtube. Feeling a bit better about myself. Does anyone else exercise along side the plan? Does it slow down your weight loss? I've put off starting until now as I'm worried that it will.

boats16 · 11/04/2018 14:31

I exercise in a morning and I go swimming once a week Tweety

BasinHaircut · 11/04/2018 15:20

tweety it won’t affect your losses unless you are building muscle, and building muscle is quite hard, you won’t build any significant amount of muscle doing a couple of aerobics classes a week for example, especially whilst in a calorie deficit, as you need to feed muscle to grow and keep it . If you weigh in after a workout you might retain a bit of water, but other than that it’s fine.

FrozenMargarita17 · 11/04/2018 15:22

I weighed myself this morning and it appears that I have got away with my weekend away without putting on which has shocked me.

I booked this week as holiday so I didn't have the pressure so I feel good about next week! Today's menu has been :

B - 2 alpen bars, strawberry
L - tuna with jacket potato and Sainsbury's be good to yourself mayo (1syn for 2tbsp) with carrots
D - Mediterranean pasta with peppers, tomatoes and courgettes

Snacks - fruit with fat free yoghurt and 2 mini meringues (2 syns)

Has anyone tried the new Coke Zero peach? It's lovely!

PinkUnicorn1990 · 11/04/2018 16:31

Had a good day on plan today, got a friend coming for dinner so making bacon wrapped chicken and some SW chips Smile feels like a proper treat!

B- weetabix minis
L-leftover pasta bolognese
D-chicken and chips Grin
S- 2xbiscuits (5) fibre one brownie (4)

RaspberryRippleRebellion · 11/04/2018 16:42

I've been a bit stressy this week and took to nibbling on the leftover chocolate. Had WI yesterday and have lost 0.5lb which considering the rubbish i've eaten is good. I am now able though to get into a size 18 again which is great and a little boost to get me through to next week.

Now most of the rubbish has gone I can't eat whats not there. It was recommended that I look at 2chubbycubs.com which I have found really helpful and hilarious. I did try over night oats which were surprisingly nice although the texture was a bit thick for me. I'll be having them again but with a different yoghurt.

Blondeshavemorefun · 11/04/2018 17:21

Blondes , Asdas 'light and lean ' sausages are good.
Well done Raspberry
Frozen have you tried the Coke Zero Cherry , that's nice too 😀

ALemonyPea · 11/04/2018 18:16

Thanks for the warm welcome.

Groovee, missed you getting to target, well bloody done lady!

it’s so easy to put in when under emotional stress. Sorry to hear about your dad 💐

I’ve been good since Friday, got a boot up my arse when I looked in the mirror naked.

Took DC out today, and went to an all you can eat place. Was quite restrained and had mostly lean meat and salad. A couple of tiny cakes, going to call 15 syns for the day. Have had 5 syns every day since Friday, so not too worried.

I Kent think the Friday group is working for me, as I can’t stop for the group, just getting weighed, so changing to a Thursday next week I think as can stop for that one.

Groovee · 11/04/2018 18:24

Thanks @ALemonyPea. It felt good to finally get there.

Well done on eating out and good luck on Thursday. I still go every week as I do weigh and I know I need it x

Every day boats, that's impressive. I need to get up earlier in the morning to try and fit some in but I'm not much of a morning person.

Thanks Badin, I kind of know that but I've heard so many people say that they stopped loosing weight or not as much when they started exercising and it's kind of got into my head. I'm not going to let it stop me anymore though as I feel so much better when I do exercise.

MumInTheCity · 11/04/2018 20:38

I've had a busy couple of days but have managed to stay on plan so far. Decided I'm going to start exercising this week, I'm planning to start with some simple YouTube workout videos and see how I get on.

I'm going out for lunch tomorrow, not sure where yet but hopefully I can get a jacket potato and stay on track.

Today's food:
B - none
L - picky bits including pickles, vegetable crudités, syn free onion bhajis and a yoghurt dip
D - vegetable pasta bake with low fat cheese (HEA)
S - 2 hifi bars (HEB)

No syns so far, may have a fibre one bar later if I get hungry.

calzone · 11/04/2018 20:42

-2lb off this week.....very pleased as I’ve been messing around for so long.

7 1/2lbs in 2 weeks.

If I’m honest, I haven’t eaten a thing for 2 days due to family stress 🙄but I’m ok I think now.

FrozenMargarita17 · 11/04/2018 21:00

@boats16 I have but I wasn't too fussed by it! I've heard Pepsi max cherry is better so I'll try that :)

boats16 · 11/04/2018 23:07

@Frozen it was the diet coke cherry I had , I wrote it wrong .Have you had that ?
@ Tweety , it's not that impressive .I only do 2 X 15 min you tube workouts for my legs but they've really helped. Because it wasn't a lot I've kept to it , or I would've stopped.
@ Calzone well done 🎉

Confuddled101 · 12/04/2018 01:23

Can I join in? Started SW towards the end of March and am now on my fourth week. So far I have lost 12 lb with a target of many stones to go.

I'm enjoying it much more than I did WW which I did many years ago. Finding it much easier not having to calorie count and haven't been hungry.

Had lots of groans from my family when I said that they would be eating my food as I wasn't cooking seperate meals. So far they have liked all the things I have cooked from SW, Pinch of Nom and Slimming Eats.

FrozenMargarita17 · 12/04/2018 06:44

@boats16 yeah is it the new one that's slightly spicy?

Testarossa1 · 12/04/2018 08:04

Another gloomy foggy damp morning, makes motivation hard to find, all I want to do is curl up on the sofa with a blanket and a book and a big bag of Doritos!!!! But I won't Wink

B - shredded wheat with berries and yoghurt
L - broccoli soup
D - shepherds pie

mayathebee · 12/04/2018 08:39

Morning all. This week is going well so far. I took DC and a couple of their friends to the soft play yesterday and they had the delicious homemade pizzas with chips. I made sure I had a late lunch and a banana before we went, then had 1 slice of pizza (synned as though it was a domino pizza) and was happy with that. I'm realising I just need to plan ahead and then this plan is easy to stick to. We'll see how it goes when I'm back at work and busy next week. Also fitted in a 5k run yesterday. I'm off to the spa today to use up my birthday vouchers - a few lengths of the pool should balance out the little cakes they serve with lunch.

Tweetypie30 · 12/04/2018 08:58

Hello Confuddled, well done, you've made a really great start.

Blondeshavemorefun · 12/04/2018 10:09

Welcome one and all

Well done @calzone

B ham pepper onion omelette and cheese a
L chicken and veg soup pitta b
T campfire stew and rice and veg

ALemonyPea · 12/04/2018 13:38

Ive not tried the peach diet coke, sounds yum! Love peach flavoured drinks Ive tried the fiery cherry though and its nice. my fizzy drink of choice is coke zero cherry. I have one every week after WI, otherwise I drink too much of the fizzy crap.

Got weighed today, 2.5 on Sad. Ill do it, I have been on plan since Friday, so not letting that get me down. I will get into my summer clothes.

Ive not transferred to the Thursday group yet as the woman who runs it wasn't there, another consultant was covering for her as she is on holiday. Not keen on the cover one so didn't stop for group. She's friends with my first consultant, so no doubt she will tell her Ive bust my target and they'll have a good laugh at my expense. Even though neither of them have ever hit target in the 10+ years they've been consultants.

Well done on everyone who has lost this week.
