Well done

Titsywoo · 10/04/2018 11:15

Yeah i'm starting to get annoyed with eating out - it never feels worth it when you know you are using all your syns for the day and more or you are having a boring meal with barely any syns but you know you could have made something nicer at home! My family eat out a lot so I'm going to encourage them to cut this down.

boats16 · 10/04/2018 11:23

I meant to say " well done PinkUnicorn Flowers

Groovee · 10/04/2018 13:50

I had pizza express on Christmas Eve but unfortunately that was when I realised that white products like bread, pizza, rice and pasta, basically bungs me up and I couldn't go to the loo.

I quite often go to a local carvery where they have a salad bar too. Have the meat and a big salad. Otherwise I eat what I fancy x

I'm hungry! Need to wait until Taster. Got fruit in my bag for after weighing.

Hmmmmmm farm ran out of jackets 🙄

Ended up with a bacon bap with . White bread. Tried to limit the damage by asking for all fat to be cut off

So guess just the bap to syn - would that be 6

Was bloody lovely tho

I have two types of sausages tonight - sw ones and Linda Mac

Will see which taste better

Looking forward to my potato gratin

lostfrequencies · 10/04/2018 19:15

I usually weigh in on a Tuesday night but wasn't able to this evening so I went to a morning group instead. Thrilled with a 4.5lb loss after a 2.5lb gain last week! I'm one of the naughty ones who doesn't tend to eat much at all on weigh day, so I'm not sure that being weighed in the morning makes too much difference really. Good luck to those getting weighed this evening.

Cherrypi · 10/04/2018 19:27

1.5lb off. Not sure how that happened to be honest as I’ve definitely been over syns on a few days. Hope it won’t catch up with me next week.

Titsywoo · 10/04/2018 19:44

Big dinner but it was bloody lovely :)

Gained 1.5lb but it was only half a pound above target so it's fine. Going to stick to plan all week then going to enjoy my spa weekend.

@blondes best sausages I've found are from Morrisons, butchers choice 70% reduced fat, in the chiller cabinet. Quite tasty. Used just 11 syns today, so not too bad.

boats16 · 10/04/2018 21:22

Well done lostfrequencies and Cherryoi 😀

FrustratedTeddyLamp · 10/04/2018 22:45

Just finished my first week 12 off which is awesome woulda liked 14. But soo far to go

Blondeshavemorefun · 10/04/2018 22:50

I weigh 3lbs more in eve then morning

Neither sw or Linda Mac sausages tasty :(

But the potato Gratin was yummy - will add more onion and veg next time - to make kinds of a hot pot

Blondeshavemorefun · 10/04/2018 22:51

Groove sorry for the gain but you will be back to target hopefully next week

Thanks @testa

ALemonyPea · 10/04/2018 22:58

I need help! I can’t get my head back in the game 😩 I’m over a stone from target and keep sabotaging myself. Seem to have developed an aversion to veg, mainly cooked, makes me feel queezy.

Blondes, Asda light and lean sausages, half a syn each, but the best tasting. Trust me, I’ve tried them all 😉

Groovee · 10/04/2018 23:24

Blondes thanks. It's fine though as you can be 3 above or 3 below so it's perfect.

@ALemonyPea what about going back to basics? I did that last week and felt so much better for it, remember you are still 6st down from where you were. That's still an achievement. Are there anything's which are triggering you into sabotaging?

Thanks Boats.

Well done FrustratedTeddyLamp - 12lb in your first week is awesome!

I have eaten far too much today. Went out for dinner tonight and had falafel and hummus ciabatta. First time I have had bread since Sept.

Did go out for a 2km run this morning and swam 40 lengths this afternoon. So not all bad.

didireallysaythat · 11/04/2018 00:09

I'm back. I'm not very good at this !

I lost a little over a stone with my first 12 week countdown. Bought another 12 weeks (I need to lose another stone, ideally two) and then a series of unfortunate events means I've had to book 3 weeks in a row as holidays as I've been away with the family and travelling with work. Worse still, at least half of those days I haven't been cooking so I've been eaten what I've been given. I haven't counted syns in weeks.

I'm going to put on, aren't I? Shall we start a sweepstake as to how much ? Any way I can repair the damage in 5 days (between my return home and weigh in next Thursday) without having to donate a kidney ?

FrustratedTeddyLamp · 11/04/2018 01:33

I guess if you've been off plan, maybe you'll lose some with water weight or whatever its called the weight that makes everyones first week often their best.

BasinHaircut · 11/04/2018 07:02

Ended up off plan yesterday. Forgot my lunch and we were taking the kids McDonalds so ended up just having that. Don’t even want to know the syns.

Then I started feeling ill and didn’t want dinner so I had a protein shake and 2 slices of toast with butter and went to bed.

Have woke up still feeling ill, meant to be taking DS out today but can’t face it. He has woke up coughing and sniffing too. Day at home it is then!

Will get back on plan today though, I’ve drawn a line under yesterday and I don’t WI till Monday so plenty of time. Trying not to dwell.

waves at Lemony I remember you! Think you were at target when I slouched off last year. Keeping 6 of 7 stones off is amazing, so don’t beat yourself up too much. When I came back I read the book cover to cover and as groovee said back to basics helped. If you’ve developed a veg aversion then maybe plan around what speed/other veg you definately can stomach and take it from there?

Testarossa1 · 11/04/2018 08:31

Morning, foggy and gloomy here, not inspiring me much!!
B - overnight weetabix and berries
L - soup, crispbread, salad bits
D - sausage casserole (at in-laws though so not SW friendly, I eat as small a portion as politely possible!!!!)

Tweetypie30 · 11/04/2018 10:32

Hi Everyone. I'm back....again! But hey you only fail if you don't keep going right Smile

I've just finished my first 12 week countdown and I've lost 12lbs. So I guess I'm not doing too badly. If I lost a pound a week I'd be at target by the end of the year.

I feel so much more focused now that Easter is behind us and all the chocolate eggs are gone. I just can't cope with chocolate in the house.

You are all doing so well, I'm hoping you can inspire me.
