Well done Groovee! Mine is on Thursday. I've run off a picture and thought of a few things to say, but I'm going to vote for my friend, as she deserves it far more than me- I'm a bit embarrassed about being nominated as she's really had a hard time personally but has carried on and has had a really positive outlook.

struggling with motivtion today. THink I'm coming down with a cold and I just want junk food and especially chocolate :( :(

Also need recommendations for tastier brown bread. Have so far tried kingsmill and WW brown bread and both just taste so dry and boring compared to lovely white bread. Plus can hardly taste the flora light. So my sandwiches haven't been interesting. Any tips?

Also where is best for food delivered? Due to disabilities, I can't always get to a shop. Musclefood, protein food shop, joes sausages? But they all seem so expensive too!

Help save my motivation please!

coralush · 17/08/2018 19:05

Sunshine - please don't be too hard on yourself. We're all only human and it's natural for motivation to dip. Allow ourself some chocolate if you're feeling under the weather and drawn a line under it tonight. I think the key is not letting it spiral into a week of eating chocolate and then thinking 'oh sod it, what's the point'. I've done that so many times!

You can do this!

I'm not sure about bread. I just use warburtons. What about Lurpack Light? That might be nicer?

In terms of home deliveries. ASDA are quite cheap?

Cherrypi · 18/08/2018 09:06

Half on not bad for being on holiday for three days. Definitely helps when I make a group even if it isn’t my usual one. Family holiday next week and back to my evening weigh in from a morning weigh in will almost guarantee a gain but bring on September.

Groovee · 18/08/2018 09:28

@sunshineNdaisies don't be so hard on yourself. I shop at a variety of places but dh can pick things up if I'm struggling. I get mince and diced cooked chicken from Iceland. £5 per bag and it lasts a while for 4 of us. I do most of my main shop at Asda. I don't shop online due to my mistakes. Ended up with 5 bags of grapes and 12 broccolis in one shop🙈🤦🏻‍♀️.

I gained last week. Can only presume it was from being ill. Hoping this week has a maintain or gain.

Groovee · 18/08/2018 09:30

Oh for bread I like kings mill crustless but it needs to be soft. Last week I picked up Asda's own wholemeal 400g. I only eat bread once a week or so.

thanks all.

Well I've definitely woken up with a cold. Sore bones, runny nose, sore throat. Not doing a jot of housework today. But have stuck to the plan so far...but its still only 11am....

Going to try making the KFC chicken fakeaway tonight. That's if DH gets the right ingredients - I gave him strict instructions not to just buy anything on the shelf because it'll probably be full of syns and I'd just eat it rather than waste it.

uuuuuurgh. feel so shite. Can't be arsed making any food which is good right? or instagramming anything either.
