Had an abominable two weeks food-wise. Baby has been waking up horrifically early, and I needed chocolate. Knew I was going over syns but didn't care.

Last week 1lb off, this week maintained. I'll take that. Back on game this week. Had done 6k on stationary bike - aiming to gradually up it to 10k.

A pair of shorts that didn't fit me on 23rd of June, now easily do up. This SW thing bloody works Shock

MyGuideJools · 19/07/2018 13:20

I've been absent for a while. I've been on holiday and had a diet of fish an chips and cream teasBlush
I'm now at home sick with tonsilitis so slimming world has gone out of the window.😷
I will get back on it!! I am reading your threads for inspiration.

Groovee · 19/07/2018 14:41

Get well soon @MyGuideJools. My diet was Mr Whippy's 99's last week! 😳

OP posts:
MyGuideJools · 19/07/2018 15:13

thanks groovee got to love a Mr whippy! I've been living on ice lollies this week, sooo nice on the throat!

Oldowl · 19/07/2018 16:21

Got my target member book, just need to read it now! I am 0.5lb within my target (upper end) so need it!

Groovee · 20/07/2018 10:13

How many of you weigh at home between classes. My consultant set a challenge to not weigh yourself this week. Quite a few are taking part and one of the class has given me her scales 😂.

I felt I was in the wrong room as I don't have working scales at home.

OP posts:
MyGuideJools · 20/07/2018 18:02

My scales at home are useless. You can get on 4 times in a row and gain a stone in 5 minutesGrin so I don't bother with them!

Oldowl · 20/07/2018 21:14

I weigh myself every morning. If I don't weigh myself, I know it is because I am avoiding the scales and the weight is creeping back on.

I always weigh myself directly before group. (My scales are always bang on what SW's say). If I am over my target range, I don't go. I make myself work extra hard to get back within target without the pressure of will I or won't I have to pay. I also can choose which group I attend- Mon, Tues or Thurs. Attending group is making me stick with it and not pile on the pounds again.

Gablexy · 20/07/2018 22:33

I weigh myself every morningand record it on an app which shows your ‘average’ weight. This helps me feel focused for the day. Having said that, I had a jam doughnut today which was 10 Syns apparently! First time since I started SW in May that I’ve consumed so many Syns with a single item. It was sooo delicious- freshly baked from Morrisons. Have just had salad for tea to try and minimise impact on weight loss. I usually only have 4-5 Syns a day. Argh. Anyway, still hope I can get my 2 stone award on Monday.

StewPots · 22/07/2018 21:13

Evening all... well I've had, frankly, a really shorty few weeks. Lots of personal problems to work through and difficulty planning for the future.

So after doing so well, my eating has become very erratic. Due to stress I've just been eating why I fancy but at the same time trying to eat free /speed foods when I can. The times I eat are all over the place - it depends on my mood tbh. If I'm very anxious I won't eat a thing then when I'm feeling calmer I end up eating loads... so frustrating. Plus my period is due an.md I need chocolate so I just ate three mini bars of green and blacks chocolate. Plus had a share bag of crisps today.

Just as I was looking and feeling great my life implodes and I'm back to square one Confused

Groovee · 23/07/2018 09:57

Draw a line @StewPots. Start afresh and it should be fine.

I've started dh on SW. He's been whinging about his lack of losses. So he had overnight oats for breakfast. Has eggy muffins and ham with salad for lunch with yoghurt and cheddars (6/6.5 syns) and fruit. Then I will do mince and potatoes for tea with onions, carrots and green beans.

I cant seem to get my head back in the game at all! Added to that, its the summer holidays, so Im hardly working, have the kids at home and we're going to be all over the place! I'll try reading through the stuff again and starting from scratch. I cant seem to get motivated. I've booked Delivery saver with Tescos so that should mean Ill just do my meal plan, then have the food delivered instead of going to the shops. Im not going to be able to make it to group this week. Was booked as holiday. I was going to go to another group but I think Ill just concentrate on reading up on it. Dont want to have put on and get demoralised.

Groovee · 24/07/2018 09:59

I'm weighing in tonight and despite having been 100% I feel like I have a gain 😢

StewPots · 24/07/2018 19:22

Few wobbles today but generally back on track..

@Groovee well done!

Cherrypi · 24/07/2018 21:27

Well done groovee. 2lb on here. Written my meal plan. Need to get my head back in the game and stop being lazy.

Groovee · 24/07/2018 22:22

Thanks. Am now following Route A on the target plan this week. Will be interesting to see the results. Last time I followed a similar route I lost weight 😂.

That's 18 weeks since I reached target. Have fallen out twice, only been bang on target once.

OP posts:
Cherrypi · 24/07/2018 22:46

Everyone at my group at target chose route A. How many routes are there?

Groovee · 25/07/2018 06:50

A/B/C normally worked how due to how your weight loss has been in the 8 weeks before reaching target.

OP posts:
Groovee · 25/07/2018 21:21

Made a doughnut today. It will never be a proper donut but it hit the spot x

Ooh that doughnut looks good. Doing better this week apart from falling into the kids popcorn at the cinema oops. Vimto squash ice lollies are going down well here. The new halo top red velvet is lovely too.

TwoAnxiousHearts · 28/07/2018 09:05

Hi all,
Joining the "party" late - not sure this slimming game can be called a party, lol...Confused
Looking forward to support and ideas.
I lost about 4 stone with Slimming World in space of 6 months after I had my youngest child (6 years ago). Since returning to work it's all crept by on (by itselfBlush) and I have to do something about it, so back at it!
Lost 3.5 lbs in first week. Would like to lose 5 stone altogether. Totally believe in plan, just gotta do it!
